The space was perfect for our family. It was clean and near the falls. The kids loved watching movies downstairs before bed. Plenty of space and the host was responsive with any needs! Would recommend more storage in the bedroom for clothes but I would recommend and stay here again.

This house was perfect for multiple families. It is in a perfect location close to everything Niagra has to offer. The Ping Pong and Air Hockey were a hit for the kids. We had a fun family movie night with the projector. I do wish the house had a grill as that would of given us some more options to cook with. We only had the basic cooking stuff so make sure to bring what you need with you. We had to buy a few cooking utensils that we needed. Overall I would book this house again. The price was resonable and the owners were very easy to work with.

Set Appropriate Expectations

The home was conveniently located and spacious for 4 guests, but our experience was marred by the listing's inaccurate claim of a working home theatre system—a key reason we booked this property. After seeing a previous review citing issues, I contacted the owner 3 months before check-in to confirm it had been fixed. Two weeks later, I received confirmation that the system was “fully up and running.” Sadly, that was not the case.Unfortunately, upon arrival, there were no instructions and the system did not work—loud buzzing from the speaker, no ability to access streaming apps, and limited functionality. I contacted the owner around 9pm with no response until 12 hours later, saying a tech would call “in a few hours.” That call came at 8:45pm, asking me to send a video of the issue - not the type of technical support one expects on vacation.After sharing my disappointment, especially given that the theatre system was a deciding factor in our booking, the owner said it was a new projector and instructions were still being created. I requested a modest refund for the inconvenience, but was told the system is “user-friendly” and my request was denied.While the property itself is decent, the lack of transparency in the listing, the inoperable amenity, and the dismissive communication from the owner were disappointing. I hope this review helps future guests set appropriate expectations—and encourages more timely and thoughtful responsiveness from the host.

Great spot for a Falls trip!

Loved this house! It’s close to the Falls but away from the crazy crowds. It was clean, beds were comfortable and the host was so responsive. We had two families sharing the house and it had everything we needed. Definitely one of my favorite houses we have rented. If I’m ever back in the area, I will rent this house again.

Beautiful-Clean-Close to Falls

This was a great property, lots of beds, bathrooms, and spaces for people to enjoy. Nice covered deck in the back, and entertainment area in the basement.Mattresses/pillows were comfortable and clean. Great natural light.Recommended!

Great house but unfortunate experience

The house is very nice. Great layout. Beds were very comfy. Location is great. Nice small backyard. Unfortunately we had a bad (hopefully isolated) experience. When we arrived for check in at 4pm I had not gotten the code for the keyless entry. I tried calling the owner but there was no answer. We sat in the driveway for an hour before getting a return call with the codes. Owner was very apologetic & said she had no reception & that the codes should have been auto sent to me & didn't know why they weren't. If that was the only problem we had it would have been fine. However the door does not match up with the frame so we struggled getting the keyless pad to lock the door. The door had to be pulled toward you just perfectly for it to lock...so sometimes it took multiple tries for it to lock. Next issue was when we realized the hard floors were not thoroughly cleaned as they were turning our socks &/or feet black. The basement was noticeably colder than the main floor. There used to be a door at the bottom of the stairs however it has been removed so any heat from the vents in the basement ends up upstairs (heat rises). Thankfully we brought extra blankets. The surround sound in the basement didn't work, was told to call a different number to fix it (not my job). Bathroom towels are small & only 8 in entire house. Air hockey paddle broken, messaged owner Mon, got a reply on Thurs, new set arrived Fri (we left Sat AM).Ping pong net broken. Basement couch dirty.

Spring get away with friends

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The basement was great for the teenage boys. We were two families with teen boys and we had plenty of room to spread out. Close to all the Niagara falls must do's.

Worst home rental ever

We were very disappointed in the bungalow. It is not meant for 10 people as advertised, there wasn’t enough seating in the living room nor dining area. The floors were very dirty, after wearing our socks for the first day we had to spend money for house slippers for all 10 of us. The floors on the lower level were visibly filthy and sticky. The outlets, the air hockey table, and the projector were not working. After 2 separate visits by repairman, the projector was removed, and never returned. The couch in the theater room is not a proper pull out couch, not useable for as a bed, no bedding was provided.The storage rack for shoes was inadequate for 10 pairs of shoes and a bench was needed to put on/take off shoes/boots. There were no luggage racks, not enough hangers, some closets had no shelf or hanging bar for clothes. We found a 2nd spider downstairs that had the girls screaming. Handheld shower-head was so high it could not be used. There is no shelf for the shampoo, soap, etc., you had to keep bending down each time to use products. Not enough towels, no wash cloths, no bench. Very dissatisfied & disappointed.i have requested a credit from host, he has yet to respond. Vrbo should not have allowed property to be listed for 10 people, therefore I am asking Vrbo’s help in getting a credit from an unresponsive host.
