The house is perfect and its setting is beautiful in the Mourne ANOB. The host's attention to details, full of thoughtful touches, and the selection of quality furniture took our stay to a whole new level, even comparing to some top branded hotels. It was an extremely enjoyable stay and would definite visit again.

Terrific, very clean, well appointed B&B

We had a truly fantastic stay at the Mourne Country House B&B. A lovely family run place. Gareth was very attentive and helpful and offered a lovely breakfast, and the place is absolutely pristinely clean. Great jump off point to the Mourne mountains. I really enjoyed being here and would highly recommend!

The hosts really know what hospitality means. Top class treatment on a par with the amazing scenery. Breakfast options excellent. Cooked breakfast with local produce again top class. Impeccable.

Superb property in a superb location. Gareth and Faith were perfect hosts 🙂 I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for peace, views and lovely food too.

A great pace to stay

This house is beautifully situated for views of the Mourne Mountains. The breakfast was very good and there is a lot of parking space. The place is clean. They just go into your room if you are staying for more than 4 days. You can, however, request for room service if you want it. We got our bins emptied and got fresh towels. They were very willing to help us.

This B&B is beautifully presented and located in amongst scenic countryside adjacent to beautiful coastline and hills. The family are lovely and very welcoming. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely beautiful place from the scenery to the gorgeous rooms. The owners were pure delightful and couldnt do enough. Now..breakfast..wow fresh croissants, toast and a full fry! Tea coffee orange and Gareths own ginger drink..lovely. Really cant say good enough things other than we will be making this a yearly visit! And a special card and chocolates on arrival to celebrate hubbys birthday.

Hidden Gem !!!

Just returned from an overnight stay at Mourne Country House. On arrival Gareth greeted my wife and I like he was our long lost son ! Hospitality from start to finish was first class and the B&B was spotless . Room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order was fantastic. This was a hidden gem that we hope to return to very soon. Thomas and Jean Newtownards

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay here. This was our favorite stay of our entire trip. The rooms were great, the views were amazing, food was delicious, and above all the hospitality was some of the best we've ever had. Can't wait to stay here again!

As good as it gets!

Great to stay again and as wonderful as our previous stay. Immaculately clean, well appointed and comfortable room. A great night's sleep. Superb breakfast. If you want a real breakfast treat then have one as good as Emma's. All the research to source the best local produce was worth it! Thoroughly enjoyed our break.

Best night we had in Ireland.

This was our last night on a motorcycle trip around Ireland. We received a really warm welcome. The property is lovely and well looked after. The bed was comfortable, en suite spotless with plenty of hot water and a decent shower. We had access to a living room to relax should we have wanted to. Excellent suggestion given for a restaurant for dinner. Property in a quiet area. Breakfast was also excellent. Couldn't fault this place and will be back at some point.

A gem of a property

Our first time here with an overnight stay and what a find we would l like to return. Excellent property and hosts and we felt at home with in such beautiful surroundings. Gareth does a brilliant job as host front of house with Emma working away in the kitchen. Emma made some beautiful muffins for guests at breakfast to have. It's top quality breakfast I had the porridge with local honey and topped with banana, strawberries and blueberries, all top quality. Wife had the scrambled egg with grilled tomatoes and toast. I was so impressed with the honey that we were able to buy a jar and infact had it on our porridge at home this morning. No expense has been spared on the furnishings. In the bedroom we had tea and coffee and biscuits left for us. Things like organic coffee sachets in the bedroom, not just standard coffee. Even at breakfast we had fancy tea pots. Property was perfect. It couldn't have been any cleaner, was quiet and the views from around the property are stunning on the elevated site. I think it's probably the best b and b we've stayed in. When we return we shall have the full Irish with locally sourced ingredients. Well done Gareth and Emma. If your in the area and looking for a b and b you'll be disappointed if you overlook this o e. What a beauty.
