The house was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances in good working order. The view is stunning. There is a path to the beach within a block or so. We paid extra to get a later check-out time because 10 AM was too early to complete the required chores and have a leisurely breakfast. So worth it!

The home is very nice and has great ocean views from the upper level and the balcony. It is an easy walk to the beach (trail starts a few homes to the south) and the hot-tub and garage are nice features. The kitchen and modern bathrooms had everything we needed. It is a beautiful home for a family vacation on the coast. All that being said, in my experience, Vacasa does not always do the best job of maintaining excellent properties for owners. This house was beautiful and very clean, but there were a few small things I want to mention (mostly for the owners). We noticed pretty quickly that two of the smoke detectors were missing, and a third looked like it was a decade or two past its expiration date. We flagged this with Vacasa as it is a safety and liability issue. The remaining items were all cosmetic, but they do make a difference: the dryer door was held closed via a bungee cord, the door seals on the washing machine were filthy (we had to clean them before running a load), and the dishwasher had 1.5" of standing water in the bottom when we first opened it (I cleaned the strainer and ran an empty cycle which seemed to fix it). I would definitely rent this home again, but I would be more enthusiastic if the owners watched Vacasa a bit more closely.

New Years Eve outing

Nice place for us to spend New Years Eve! Great view! Really the only negatives were kitchen-related. The pots / pans were very well used, and not easy to clean -- especially with no scrubber / scouring pad provided. Basement bathroom was missing a stopper. Were the smoke detectors working? Appeared to be one missing and we weren't sure about working condition of others.

Perfect view, beach access down the road very, nice house, no hot water in the kitchen sink, and we could not watch tv upstairs, hopefully they will get that problem corrected. House older needs a few updated fixes. But we loved all the room and had a lovely family vacation and would definitely go back.

Comfortable stay in Newport

Well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating and beds! Only thing was there is no cable tv. They could have had at least a antenna. My son brought his ruko or we wouldn't have any tv. After we got home we noticed we had left some very important papers. The contact people we talked to were very helpful and they went out of their way to find them and mailed them back to us! We are so thankful to all who helped to return our paperwork! Thank you

Great place to stay

This worked out so well for a family beach weekend. Location is wonderful! Nice view of the ocean. Close to Nye Beach. There is nearby beach access but it's a bit of a climb down through a small path. House had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, beach towels for the hot tub. Unique, lovely home. Would stay again

A nice vacation home suitable for a family

We enjoyed a two-night stay in this house with a nice ocean view and a spacious deck. Clean, well maintained, roomy, with all amenities we needed for our family of 7 (3 grown up kids, two younger ones). Nice, quiet neighborhood, only a few minutes away from the beach.

Nice location and view but disappointing house

We arrived and were excited about the location and view. Which is amazing. The house however was very dated, smelly and did not reflect the pictures. The hot tub was dirty and we did not feel comfortable using it. The smell in the lower level is unbearable for two of the bedrooms. The house is very dated and the furniture in the main level is dirty. The towels were like cardboard and in poor condition. Would not recommend this house.

Arrrow Point House

We enjoyed learning about the history of the house and the 3rd generation of family members. The views and location are amazing.. The proximity to restaurants and beaches is a definite plus. My only suggestions are providing better and more paper products, plates, glasses, and silverware. Also, no ice cream scoop, or serving spoons. With 6 people we ran the dishwasher way too often. The dishwasher wheels kept falling off. Both bathroom drains were clogged. Furniture and beds worked well and were comfortable.

Family time at the coast

The house was large and very comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with needed cookware, condiments, towels, etc. It was an easy walk to Nye beach, and a short climb down a path to the ocean from the home. Great views of the ocean too

Comfortable home for family stay

Our family of grandparent, adult children and young grandchildren had a great stay in this house. There is one bedroom upstairs with bath and two bedroom downstairs with a bath. Sound did travel between floors but there were fans in the closets for "white noise". The description said 1 King and 2 queen, but there were actually 2 King size beds and a queen. There is a family room downstairs that was great for having kid toys separate from adult conversation areas. We loved the hot tub also! Very close to beach path (but steep path). View lovely. The kitchen was well-supplied except for large spoons! We also were unable to find recycling containers so we took it home with us. It was very rainy while we were there and on the last morning there was a drip from the room into the upstairs hall. We put a bucket under it. We were unable to reach a local Vacasa contact but did notify the Vacasa national help line. We would stay here again!
