Great space. Appreciated all of the charger hubs. River was far enough that I wasn’t concerned about the littles headed down without an adult. Sand toys, canoe and dock were fun.

Plan to Book Again!

The river house is the ideal answer for a totally relaxing break from the hubbub of daily life. Remote, but not too remote, spacious, with terrific views of peaceful water and the sounds of many varieties of winged wildlife. On a recent stay there my son and I felt totally refreshed and determined to book several more nights soon.

Lovely Property. Great Location

This was a wonderful property. Lots of room and great amenities. The view of the river was spectacular, the kitchen well stocked and we enjoyed the deck when the weather cooperated.

Sister Getaway 2025

We had an absolutely amazing time at the River House. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and very cosy. The house was equipped with everything we needed and outdoor activities were also available to us. The walk to the river was easily done and we enjoyed the swimming opportunity. The host quickly responded to any questions I had and check in was easily accomplished. Strongly recommend the River House for a getaway.

What an extraordinary gem of a property this is! Their attention to detail to meet the needs and address the comfort of their guests is paramount. We had a lovely time in this lovely house. The view of the River is fabulous. We will be returning.

Over the River

We felt right at home at this beautiful comfortable house. It was well-stocked, beautifully decorated with well marked first aid kit and fire extinguisher and ruggables making the throw rugs safe. We were able to host our family across the river for meals and games and go on local sightseeing and skiing expeditions Great stay!

All aspects of our stay were well above our expectations. The pre-check in communication was timely, informative and very personalized. The check in process was easy to follow. The listing pictures did not fully encompass how nice the property turned out to be. We were very happy we chosce this location. It was a very nice location. The neighborhood was very quite. We will definetly check for availability the next time we plan a trip to this area.

We spent the weekend here for my daughter's nearby wedding. The house was wonderful, the ground's beautiful, and the nice touch of a welcome package related to my daughter's wedding was sweet. Highly recommended!

Awesome place to stay, 10☆s

This was our 2nd time here and we will definitely be back. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful spot close to great accommodations. We spent so much time just sitting on the deck enjoying the river view with the mountain backdrop. The home has everything you could possibly need and some things you didn't know you needed and now have to purchase for your own home 😁The host, Karie, is always super quick in responding and is a saint for sharing this little slice of heaven. STAY HERE!! You won't be disappointed!!!!

Great times, house, and host!

We truly loved staying here at this River House. House was very refreshing, comfortable, and met our family's expectations. Karie, host / owner, was awesome. Grandkids loved the Smores kit and the many variety of games. We would definitely head back to this house again for our next family reunion.

We had a wonderful time at the river house. The house had a warm feeling with ample room and it was a quick walk to the river. The turkeys were fun to watch and coffee on the front porch was amazing. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Hospitality Peace and Nature

Thoughtful touches abound at this lovely rental house. Comfortable, lots of on-site amenities, (games, books, essentials, like coffee, and tea, etc.). Lovely, quiet country Lane location. Easy access to the river and local trails, and nearby towns have lots of restaurant choices. Only Slight thing I found puzzling was No shampoo in master shower, only and Guest.

A Great Retreat

I’d highly recommend the River Cabin if you are looking for a peaceful retreat where you can take in nature, watch gorgeous sunsets, and have accommodations with all the amenities you could possibly need to feel right at home. In addition, Karie is a great host. She’s very responsive for any questions you may have.
