The cottage on Lake Erie was charming: warm, cozy, comfortable and well appointed. Sunrise from the living room and the deck was breathtaking. The host replied to every question with clarity and patience. Our time there was peaceful perfection.

The cottage was perfect for our long fall weekend! It was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view is absolutely unbelievable, and watching the sunrise each morning was such a treat. Our host, Rich, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Truly a 5-star host and experience — we can’t wait to come back!

Our weekend with friends was perfect at the cottage. Everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals. Sitting outside by the gas fireplace, and watching football inside. The only downside, the furniture (couch) is not comfortable what’s so ever. Everything else is on point! Definitely would return for a weekend getaway.

We had a great time on Estral Beach. Richard was very communicative and supplied everything needed. Home was great with a large deck right on the water, with a firepit and grill and comfy chairs. And there was a garage/man cave filled with TV, ping pong table, foosball, etc. and exercise equipment. Overall we had a great time and would recommend Richard's home to anyone.

Well kept, clean, very accommodating, quiet, love being right on the water, & every thing is within a 20 minute drive. Highly recommend going to the beach in Stearling Park. Owner of the house was always very prompt in answering any questions we had.

Great place to relax and unwind

The property is a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of dally life. Spotlessly clean an well equipped with everything you need. The property is in a quiet neighborhood right on the shore of lake Erie. Watching the sunrise from the deck is pure bliss.

Beautiful views! House was clean, kitchen was functional. The whole place isn’t very big, so I imagine a larger family might feel cooped up, and no yard- the back deck is it. Since the photos were taken, a safety railing was added. It doesn’t block the view, but did make the lake inaccessible except from the public access point immediately next to the property. Didn’t bother me as I didn’t plan to swim. Just up the way is a nuclear power plant that had an alarm test while we were sitting out back. Briefly panicked though it was clear quite quickly that it was just a test. The house was exactly what I was hoping for- a place for my husband and I to hang out while the kid was at a nearby camp. It was quiet, bed was comfy and king size! Would definitely stay here again!!

Starlings inhabit this house on the property next door. They’re very chatty in the early evenings!

Relaxing and fun getaway!

We stayed her for a weekend trip and it was great! A lot more affordable than the west side of Michigan and it was so close to everything but also on a little secluded beach so you had your privacy. There were also a lot of games and activities at the house for entertainment. All the basic supplies you need. And it was very close to some nature and national park areas so we got to go do some hiking/walking along the lake. We had a great time and would definitely return.
