"A wonderful place to stay with amazing views of the ocean and close beach acces. There are 2 bedrooms with 1 being a loft with separate bath and large tub. The owner supplied all those items we all seem to forget. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Close enough to walk to Nye beach with shops and restaurants. We will be back again. "

"Upstairs king bed is very comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms seemed clean. Kitchen was ok, but the living and dining areas were not. There were ants and also termites (or flying ants). There were some broken lamp switches, no sponge to wash dishes, and the dishwasher door was tough to close. The pull out couch was well-worn and the mattress was very dirty. There were cobwebs on the first floor. We enjoyed the balconies, and it's a great location -- close to historic Newport and the sea lions,...

"We enjoyed our stay at Sea Gypsy, once again — being in the center of town, no steps to our unit, and ease of access to the beach. Our bed was comfortable, but you can tell it needs to be replaced because it’s lumpy. We were disappointed by the lack of care of the unit; the carpet was filthy, and stained in multiple locations, the bedroom closet door was off the track, and the hallway bathroom toilet takes about 5 minutes to fill with water.The office staff were very helpful.
