Amazing location - very charming yet cozy (loved the restaurant across the street- so convenient) and right in the heart of Balboa! The property was very clean, check in was seamless and we loved having a parking spot available. My family and I will definitely be back!

Nice Small Place with Easy Walking to Restaurants

Great place for enjoying what Balboa Island has to offer. Easy access to freeways when needing to get out and about. Well furnished kitchen and bbq for staying in as well.

We enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect within walking distance to restaurants, shops, ferry and beach! Place was clean, comfortable and as described. I highly recommend!

This cute little place was so adorable and very comfortable. The area was in good location. Would definitely consider staying here again. The process the communication was also very easy.

Perfect for Balboa Fun

Excellent location and parking in off street carport is a plus. Equipped with convenient amenities in the kitchen. The roof deck is really nice for morning or evening hang outs.The king mattress could use an upgrade but otherwise this is a great place for two people!

Terffic stay in great location

Really nice spot for two folks, with easy walking distance to the Main Street on Balboa Island. Plus, just one block from catching the Ferry. Condo is easy access, has off-street parking and is very comfortable. We’ll use it again!

It was but the place is directly below the flight path and flights start early. Very noisy. I don’t recall “stairs” being discussed in the listing. We are over 75 and stairs are a big deal. We managed, but it was challenging. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Stay!

I was in town for four nights on business and wanted to stay on Balboa Island. My wife and I have stayed several places before but none of them had air conditioning and for my stay in July I was happy to find the Tuscan style retreat did. The place was just as advertised, clean, and within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The off street parking is a huge convenience as well. Next time my wife and I visit we will be sure to book.

Balboa weekend

Place was great!! Easy access and has a rooftop if you want to see sunset! Around the corner from the todos santos Mexican restaurant. It’s great and has coffee bar in the morning. Can walk to get on ferry to go across to many many restaurants and beach. We loved going to dinner on main strip! Royal Hen was yummy! It’s definitely an upscale rental for a one bedroom condo!

We visit Newport Beach multiple times a year, so we’ve stayed at quite a few property rentals. This one was by far our favorite location! As a family of four, I would say it was a bit tight, but we were only there to sleep. The pull out sofa bed was perfect for my 2 sons. I would definitely stay there again. The architecture and decor is very Mediterranean, and there is a bit of a learning curve to the bath fixtures. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, there were plenty of linens and beach towels. The boogie boards were a nice touch, and we appreciated having on site laundry machines.

We stayed here with a group of 10 friends and had an absolutely amazing time! From start to finish, everything was smooth, fun, and thoughtfully organized. The house itself was beautiful and super comfortable for a large group—plenty of space for everyone to relax and hang out.What really made the trip special were all the recommendations we received. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests have the best experience possible. The driving service made getting around super easy, the boat day was a total highlight, and the personal chef was incredible—one of the best meals we’ve had on vacation!We had such a blast and made memories we’ll never forget. Can’t recommend this place enough if you're looking for a fun, stress-free getaway with friends!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a wonderful 2-week stay here and hope to do it again. The unit has top-of-the-line everything (appliances, decor, bedding...even the windows). Despite being near the hub of activity near the ferry, it is blissfully quiet and secure in this unit (since most auto and pedestrian traffic doesn't go past Agate) The location is perfect - easy to go across to the peninsula, an easy walk to Marine Ave with all the shops and even a really great restaurant (Todos Santos) right across the street. And having a covered parking spot on Balboa Island is a big, almost essential, convenience.

Lacked items like paper, pen, baggies or saran wrap. Not one piece of information about Balboa at all. Only one card game, one book. It would have been nice to have a small cooler for guest to go to beach. Some windows did not open. It just lacked personality for the guests. It really could use a small table for drinks. We have stayed in three other homes to date and they all had above items that were mentioned.We would not stay again.

Birthday Get away

My husband and I took a trip to Balboa Island. This was a perfect location on a great little island and a great place to spend my birthday! Location is perfect! We had one problem, the rooftop deck was unusable as the umbrella was completely broken and it was too sunny without it. It was not possible to be replaced while we were there. Hopefully it has been replaced as of now.

Balboa living exactly as I imagined

Reviewer Comments: For a couple visiting Newport Beach, this has to be one of the best rentals available. this property benefits from its absolute perfect location. You are on the street where the ferry crosses, this gives you access to the peninsula immediately. Rent a bike for your stay and park the car in the provided car port, your done. This location provides a nice scenic walk to get coffee in mornings on Marine street. If you're dying of starvation and don't want to go anywhere, just jump across the street to Todos Santos for great Mexican food or drinks. You can't miss with this place, it was cute, serviced all our needs and more. Just one bug: The TV was not configured for cable as advertised. This was ONLY an issue trying to watch the Super Bowl ending. We watched it on iPads. We didn't turn on the TV the rest of the stay.
