The location gives this place 5 stars, the beach chairs and sand toys really are an excellent touch. The condo itself is pretty plain Jane, nothing fancy, parts are in need of some repair or update, but really it's just what we were looking for, traveling with kids it was nice being in a place where I didn't need to worry about nice trinkets and breakables. I would absolutely stay here again, it was a great stay, I felt safe and never had an issue with parking (my stay was in winter, summer may be different), but there are some things that may be deal breakers for others. -The floors need updating, not necessarily dirty but the carpet was matted down pretty bad to where it felt gross underfoot (I just kept shoes on), there is mold on the washer and all of our clothes came out smelling really bad (the owner is aware and is working on it) and the washer ruined a few pieces of clothing (if I stayed again I would plan on not washing any clothes), the furnace doesn't work, and the repairs in the bathroom are pretty bad (very patchy, gives it a run down feeling), oh and most of the wetsuits were threadbare and unusable. But honestly for the location, being 30 seconds to the sand, these things were very trivial for me. The kitchen was pretty nice, the stove worked great, the beds were just fine, the blow up mattress worked really well, and it's really close to a lot of places to eat out, we were even able to order gluten free pizza for delivery. Great stay, excellent host!

The location was 100% the best part of this stay. We were able to maximize our time in the ocean, on the sand, and riding bikes up and down the boardwalk. The amenities at the house allowed us to enjoy the beach and local parks with the kiddos.

The place is so close to the beach, you could walk out with your morning coffee, but there was not actually a beach view due to another row of houses between us and the beach. The house was clean and the kitchen was fairly well stocked. The carpet seemed ready to be replaced, maybe with tile due to all the sand and such that gets tracked in. Everything worked well. Having TVs in the living room and both bedrooms was nice. Parking was easy. Overall double thumbs up.

Right across the street from a beautiful beach with lots of chairs and beach toys to use. It is big and comfortable and the neighborhood is feels very safe and quiet. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom were all clean but it could use a good tidy. Host was very responsive to questions. Definitely felt like a good deal for the price!

The house was ideal for us. very simple and feet away from the beach. I took my adult special needs son who is loosing his eye sight and can not see well and is not able to walk to far due to his feet so it was perfect. We are use to dry climate in the dessert so my Only complaint is there was No AC and was very humid inside as no real breeze came in the house as the houses are very close to each and block some of the breeze, but fans were provided and that helped at night. The owner responded to everything very fast and he was very kind and helpful.

Great location

It was a great place and location. Kitchen was awesome. Bikes were very enjoyable but could use a little tlc. Carpet was as reviewed. Master room had a very musty odor so would beware if you have any sensitivities.

Hi there, I’m the condo you just stayed in. I know, I know—I’m not exactly the belle of the beachfront ball, but I try my best. Or at least I used to, back in 1987. That was my golden era. Let’s talk about my carpet. Actually… please don’t. It’s been through some things. At this point, it has its own ecosystem and possibly a personality. It’s stained, soggy, and smells faintly of mystery mold with undertones of regret. If you ever wondered what “yuck” would look like in shag form—now you know.The air in here? Let’s call it “eau de mildew.” Not exactly a spa scent, but it is… consistent.My decor? It’s what you’d call “meh.” A little bit grandma’s-basement-meets-yard-sale-leftovers. Not offensive, but not exactly warm and inviting either. More like: “You’re here for the location, right?” Now, credit where credit is due—the owner lives on-site and is super chill and communicative. You text, he replies. No complaints there! It’s clear he tries to make the best of what he has, and the place did technically appear clean. But let’s be honest, no amount of Lysol can erase decades of wear and water damage. So here’s the tea: If you’re looking for a budget spot with a responsive host and you don’t mind a little musty nostalgia and questionable carpeting, you found it!
