We stayed March 28–April 4 (we extended or stay by two days because we enjoyed the home), and this was our second time renting here. Unfortunately, this experience was completely ruined by how management handled a serious issue after checkout.I accidentally left behind my husband’s electric shaver, additional personal bathroom items, and a denim Gucci purse in the master bathroom and bedroom. I contacted management immediately upon me arriving back to my home (approximately 2 hrs after checking out) and made multiple follow-up calls. Each time I called I spoke with Regina and she seemed helpful, today I find out she never informed management and there was no follow through. After nearly 10 days, management finally called, completely unaware of my case, forcing me to start over.I was initially told no one had entered the home, which was false—new guests checked in the same day. None of my items have been recovered, and there has been zero accountability or urgency. Given the circumstances, I seriously question whether the property was properly checked or if items were taken by staff.This level of negligence, poor communication, and lack of integrity is unacceptable. While the home itself is nice, we will not be using Newport Beach Properties again.
