The porch and the boardwalk right in front and the beach right in front was great, the condo itself was very dated and was in need of painting and touch-ups. Also most of the sitting areas and kitchen chairs were not very comfortable. The positive was that it had a garage and great access to the beach.

The house is in the perfect location and that is why we have returned year after year. This year was the WORSE! We arrived on Saturday and my husband was hospitalized on Monday. We flew my husband and very sick granddaughter home on Sunday just to have her hospitalized on Monday after seeing her doctor. My adult daughter has the same issue. It caused Group A strept on all three. According to the doctors for all three it entered through an open skin abrasion. My husband stubbed his toe on a bed there. My granddaughter had a misquito bite and my daughter had a shaving nick. Also the hot water would not turn off in the master bathroom. It ran for 1 1/2 days. Water was dripping from the ceilings. The toilet in the hall bath would not flush. When calling for repairs there was always an excuse.

Not quite what we expected

I brought my family here for a week. I’ve seen this beach house for years and I saw the negative reviews, but wanted to give the house a shot. This was approximately the 20th different beach house I’ve stayed in between San Diego and Huntington Beach.Pros- location to everything is great. Access to the beach was perfect for my kids.Cons-house is out dated. Laundry is in the garage, shared with the upstairs unit and you have to pay with quarters per load. I’ve never had shared or coin operated washer dryer in 15 years of renting beach houses in Cali. The garage fit my Toyota Sienna, but It was a very tight fit. If the upstairs unit had a vehicle small enough to park inside, it would not have been possible to get out of the vehicle. The shower heads are set for someone 5 feet tall and the fiberglass walls of the shower itself are cracked and breaking. The mattresses were very firm, worn and have dents/pockets on top from where people sleep. The upstairs guests arrived halfway through my stay and you could hear every step they took. It was a family with a group of teenage girls the noise from upstairs never stopped once they got there.The house has potential to be a great house, but it will require some updating and maintenance. As the house is now, I would not stay in it again or recommend it to family/froends.

Very loud water pipes in the walls every time someone up stairs flushed a toilet or turned on water. Poor water pressure in showers with very low shower faucets, not good for taller people. Could hear every movement from people renting upstairs unit.

Don't fall for it

Properties listed as old with no upgrades but didn't state that everything in the entire Place needed maintenance. I mean I spent $5,000 the least I could get was a door that opens and closes properly and a shower rod that wasnt rusted and falling off everytime we tried to shower. The list goes on and on Spend the exra thousand dollars amd go with another place. We also rented bikes from this management company beachview reality which were stolen even though we locked them up and they charged me for the equipment. If anybody is staying upstairs you won't get a good night's rest. We actually left a day early an this was a. Nightmare vacation for us.

Core memories made here

If you are looking for a centrally located, family friendly rental, this is the one. It was perfect for our 2 & 3 year old grandsons as well as our teenager and her friends. As stated in the rental description, it is not decorated with high-end decor, however, it is very clean and comfortable. We loved every single minute of our trip and can’t wait to come back someday!!! Location, location, location!!!!

Right on the beach and boadwalk. Grocery store, coffee shops, early morning breakfast, lunch, dinner restaurants, all kinds of shops, the peir, everything you need is within a 15 minute walk.
