Such a calm weekend

Sheryl and Rich were so awesome and gave some good recommendations for restaurants near by. It was incredible to wake up every morning to the beach! Definitely would stay again!

Our group of 6 stayed in Newport Beach as we were over from Scotland for a wedding. We were met at the accommodation by Richi who showed us around the house and told us everything we needed to know. He was very friendly and helpful. We had great communication with Happi travels throughout

Great Location and Great Amenities

Though this unit is not updated, the location and amenities are prime. It's so close to the beach and bike lane. The store complex down the road has several yummy restaurants for every meal, breakfast sandwiches, donuts, pastries, burritos, sushi, burgers, tacos, pizza, pasta, etc. There is a grocery store about a mile down the road. Lots of parks in either direction for kids to play.The bikes were awesome and we had a blast riding them around. We rode to the pier to the south, and to the river to the north, which has a trail on both sides of it. The beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards were so convenient! We had a blast at the beach and saw lots of dolphins. The beds were comfortable in our opinion. They are about a medium softness, so if you like different, keep that in mind. The hosts were awesome! We aren't big fans of having to meet people to check in, but Rich was so fun and nice, and made it quick. You will love your stay here!

Wish we had more time to stay!

This property is steps from the beach and yes we saw dolphins! It was peaceful to sit on the deck and see the water. We traveled from NJ so we greatly appreciated all of the little details this property provided since there is no way we could have packed everything. It's true that they thought of everything-linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, soft soap in the bathrooms, dish soap, a new sponge to wash dishes with, laundry and dishwasher detergent, beach chairs, umbrellas, ETC. They also included 4 free bikes which was great. There is a bike lane just steps from the house for a safe ride to downtown. We rode to 35th street and then jumped onto the paved path along the beach which leads to the pier which is just over a mile from the house at the center of town. The grocery store is less than a mile from the house but we highly recommend making an online order and taking advantage of the property's generous offer to stock the fridge for you before you arrive. We did not and regretted it because we got in later than we had expected. Great house!

The location was wonderful. Close to a couple places to eat and right next to the beach. Close enough to take a bike ride to the balboa ferry and fun center. Would definitely recommend it to everyone

Lovely

We had the best time in Newport. The place has everything you need! They had plenty of toys and beach gear and was just a 30-second walk to the sand. I rode my bike along the beach which was amazing. Also saw whales and tons of dolphins just offshore. We will stay again (unless we just move there).

Great location

We loved the location just a block from the beach. Property is clean, well stocked for your stay, and has comfortable beds. We loved having use of the bikes. Communication was excellent and we would definitely come back next time we visit Newport Beach.

Great Location with easy access to a beautiful beach!

We enjoyed our time at this property. Very easy access to the beach! Having access to a washer and dryer was nice. It’s important to note that the property does not have A/C. Although there are plenty of fans, it was quite hot at night and I had trouble sleeping. Indoor temps were around 76 at night, which for many is just fine. We stayed in mid-October. Parking is a challenge! I was thankful the manager met us at the property as I was having difficulty parking our minivan. He was VERY helpful. Everyone needed to exit the minivan and I had to SQUEEZE to get out once parked. Anything bigger than a minivan and you’ll need to park in the street. Lots of city ordinances to follow which was a bit daunting upon first reading, but I was thankful to be aware of the laws.

Great vacation spot!

The house was clean and the check in process was super easy and efficient. location was great, my kids were able to walk right to the beach everyday. It was a hot week, so breeze was an issue, but overall it was wonderful. We had an issue with the TV, but the owners took care of it in a timely manner. Definitely recommend this place for a summer get away!

Wonder beach trip! Will be returning

We are local and thoroughly enjoyed our quick trip to the beach I love this quiet side of Newport and can't wait to return. The house was very clean, well stocked and plenty of space. So close to the sand, every beach item you could imagine was available in the garage for use. Great communication before and during our trip. We highly recommend biking North to Huntington Beach. Can't wait to come and stay longer next time

Perfect Beach House!

My husband, myself and our 5 kids ages 10-18 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! We had plenty of space to spread out, comfy beds, a well appointed kitchen and lots of beach toys/equipment for a great day at the beach. The location of the house is perfect…on a quiet street just steps from the sand, as well as being super close to grocery stores and restaurants. The best part was our 12 passenger van fit perfectly into the car port! We can’t wait to go back!!

Exceeded Expectations

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have been more happy with the rental. We rented the house for a week stay in Oct. The house was clean and had all the conveniences you want/expect. Staff was super helpful getting us checked in and making sure we had everything we needed. They even set us up with a high chair and pack-n-play for our youngest. Parking was easy and convenient even with a large sprinter van. From the house we rode bike everywhere. So many options close by for dining. We definitely would recommend this rental to anyone looking.
