"We really enjoyed our stay at the Restful Retreat! We loved how they had everything labeled so you don’t have to go looking for things. The bed was really comfortable, my husband said it was his best nights sleep he’s had in a year! Kim sent us messages checking in on us to see if there’s anything we needed. It was convenient to Winthrop University and within walking distance to a nice Veterens Garden. It’s also close to restaurants, grocery store. We would stay here again!"

"The breakfast buffet was adequate but poorly set up and planned. The pool area was very tight and had many local workers who came to stay there and use the pool with families. No seating really and very small towels and old which did not match the updates and nice room we stayed in. Great area to go for a walk around the Cawtawba River and for some shopping and great for access to Charlotte also. "

"It was claimed to have been renovated. Shelves are hanging on the wall by a thread. The paint is peeling and fixtures painted over. I cld have done a far better job. It's obvious that the ceiling is leaking because of the peeling plaster and/or brown rings. The walls are dirty and areas still need painting. "This is a great property that allowed my pugs. It was a comfortable place that was close to everything. Be prepared for a steep driveway but it was not a problem. The neighborhood was pretty quiet for being in suburbia. My only recommendation would be to hire a cleaning service as that would really make the place a "10 star" stay. I would stay here again."
