"A great experience for us staying in a houseboat at Island harbour, a tranquil area of the Isle of Wight, makes for a relaxing stay but in easy reach of the rest of the Island. On one of our days there we had friends over for dinner and due to the sunny positioning of the bi-fold doors, we could open these to the full extent, sit out and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. "The property was beautiful and basically in the middle of the woods so dead easy for dog walking - also and outside hose which was really handy considering how muddy it was! It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. "The Accomodation has all amenities and comfort including large bath and the nice touch of a DVD collection. Kitchen has all you need. But it is completely blind (there are windows but you need to keep blinds down so it’s dark!) which the listing avoided showing with great success. "Very easy to speak with the owners of the boats and boat was spotless with a lovely welcome basket. The wash facilities in the marina were 5* and the views on the boat take any stress away.
