"This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely go back again."

"The hotel is old and shows its age. A steep staircase rises to the rooms. There are signs of poor maintenance, stained carpets and a need for redecoration. The beds were clean and comfortable and, lights, TV, WiFi and the hot drinks kettle all worked well. The room was quiet despite being on the street side. The pub stays noisy until late on Saturday night. There are nice cafes nearby for breakfast and the location is central to the town for shops and the delightful Newnt lake park"

"Lovely old building with lots of history , well situated in the heart of Ledbury so close to shops , restaurants , pubs etc . Staff were very friendly and helpful . We had an evening meal which was enjoyable and service was excellent. Great choice for breakfast and once again the service was good and efficient. The room was adequate , bed was comfortable and linen clean . It was quirky as befitting a 500 year old property with sloping floors . Bathroom was small as was the shower but that’s to...

"A heritage room in a wonderfully presented property, with a spacious room with specialty tea and coffee and local fresh milk. A warm welcome from the staff on arrival and then later for a meal in the bar/restaurant. Very handy for all Ledbury has to offer and walking distance of the wide array of sights, shops, pubs restaurants, take aways and everything you could need/ want. "Room was lovely and clean and we had a modern bathroom. Staff were very friendly, food was excellent and service was great. Parking was easy and cheap (6 pounds I think) and the property is gorgeous. We had a room upstairs which was fantastic, our friends had one down the corridor which was different and not as nice. The only thing was the bed - it was extremely hard and impacted our ability to sleep well. If there was a topper or a different mattress I would stay again in a pinch, or just stay...

"En general bien pero tuve el problema que de la regadera no salía el agua caliente! Solo de la tina así que imagínense el relajo para bañarse, el hotel limpio y lindo junto a un río aunque algo alejado de la zona de más interés. Tienes que tomar taxi a fuerza. El desayuno es lo mejor, delicioso y preparado por una señora lindisima y que cocina delicioso"

"Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles."
