It was just ok for the money, overpriced for sure. Not a beach area its a river area. Front door did not lock from the inside and code on the door didnt work. Had to get the keys out of a lock box in the dark. Living room only had a 2 person love seat and a chair , no sofa . We had 4 adults so it wasnt very comfortable. Pictures look better than it actually was.

Summer Stay

My family and I are from Arizona & we stayed the past week at this location. With little kids it was a perfect walk to the playground, super close to Plum Island Beach, the host was great, the stay was great. The house was super cute and cozy. Parking was available right on the property and allowed for two parking spots. The check out process was super easy and seamless. I didn’t pay attention but there isn’t a washer and dryer on the property to to use so that was the only thing that bummed me out but that was my negligence with viewing the posting before booking. They do have a coffee maker on site, I know we like to know is it a coffee marker or keurig just to prepare for a grocery list & it’s a coffee pot which worked great and we enjoyed more with multiple people drinking coffee. The back patio was covered and super cute with seating and literally steps away from the beach. There are upstairs homeowners who are super friendly and kind and they keep to themselves and even being above are super quiet so you never really even know they are there. The expectations were transparent and clear and everything was really amazing. We would absolutely book this again!

Great spot

An amazing spot where you can walk to the beach or drive a few minutes to Newburyport shopping. It was perfect for our small children, highly recommend it.

Perfect for us

We stayed in late December 2024 with our grandchildren- despite rainy weather, we enjoyed the proximity to the park, lighthouse and beach. The accommodations were great for the four of us and very comfortable.

Location was the best!

The place was adorable. Great little park just outside the back door, so close, as was the beach. The vacation was so enjoyable for all three generations. Grill and picnic table were especially nice. It fit everyone's needs, from young to old. Loved it.

Great location

We enjoyed a long weekend at the end of September. There were 3 of us having a girls weekend. There was plenty of space, very clean, comfortable mattresses, everything you need in the kitchen. The unit has been fully updated. The area is quiet and we rode bikes all over. We’d get an Uber to town to go out for dinner and shop. We had a chilly weekend, but we still walked over to the beach anyway. We had a really nice time.

It was a great place to stay to celebrate my best friend getting married. The location was perfect, the host was easy to communicate with and the place was clean and super cute! Definitely would stay again with my family for a future vacation.

The house at plum island is very clean and so cute. Very well maintained. We had some issues with the door code not working and right after I sent an email my phone rang and management was calling to help us with our issue. Very responsive and easy to get a hold of if an issue which really impressed me. We are already planning on booking for next year :)

Great place to stay - clean, relaxing, nice location

PRO's : * communication from property mgmt. - perfect instructions on parking, accessing door lock, etc. emailed a few times during our stay to make sure everything was good and if we had any questions. * the house was very clean & organized * access to the beach right out the back door and instant access to the road on/off the island * neighbors and all near properties were nice and also very quiet - barely any noise aside from the occasional car passing by * comfortable furniture/beds, plenty of room in kitchen and large refrigerator CONS : none We looked at some options for staying in this area and this was the best value we found. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely Beach Stay!

The property was nice and very comfortable, the location was fantastic and the hosts were extremely accommodating and communicative. The owners who live upstairs were very nice - waving down from their balcony to let us know to tell them if we need anything. We had a great stay and wanted for nothing. Would stay again! The proximity to the beach and nature preserve is perfect.

Really nice vacation

This was a great place for my family of 4 (kids are elementary school aged). Playground right out the back door! Easy walk to nice sandy beaches on the Merrimack River. At low tide the beach has many little tide pools that are shallow and fun for kids. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for the week to have our meals there. Beds were comfortable and household linens provided. We loved having the grill and picnic table outside. Building owners were very nice to chat with when we saw them (but did not intrude). Opening the front window and back door got a nice breeze from land or sea to keep the living area cool. The one drawback we had was on two very hot days. (with no breeze/land breeze). My kids adored the small bunk bed room. But between no AC in that bedroom and the water heater or furnace also being in the closet, the room got very warm. There is a really great fan in the room to circulate air which helped a lot. By the second day, we figured out we needed to start the fan way before bedtime to make it more comfortable. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for; a quiet family-oriented spot to get away and spend our days at the beach. My kids are already asking when we can go back again! Kudos to Sean and Mike for creating a really nice little place to stay on Plum Island.

Just right

We liked the configuration of 3 bedrooms and having 1.5 bathrooms, perfect for us as grandparents with two grandchildren. We loved being able to walk right down to the beach at any time. Low tide was especially interesting. Short drive to other beach and Parker Reserve was wonderful.
