Perfect beach getaway
This is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing weekend at the beach in a great location. We woke up each morning and walked with our pup on the beach and then drove 10 minutes into Newburyport to explore. Highly recommend for a fall getaway!

A great little place by the sea
What a view! Steps away from the ocean, a perfect and easy location. I personally love the off-season, so October was so peaceful and beautiful. Parking was great, (not always a given on Plum Island). Made for a great homebase.

Fabulous Fall Getaway!
Had a wonderful week of sunrises, sunsets and walks on the beach. Location was great for exploring all the island has to offer along with Newburyport which was a short drive to great restaurants, shopping and beautiful scenery. Rob is a very responsive and gracious host. The cottage was perfect. Incredible views from every window. The Adirondack chairs nestled in the dunes were our favorite afternoon spot to sip wine and take in the soothing sites and sounds of the ocean. Hated to leave and can’t wait to come back again.

Great Location with amazing views@
We spent 2 nights in Rob's apartment on right on the beach. Our two dogs loved running on this VERY dog friendly beach. The place was great with more than enough room for us. We loved the town of Newburyport and the long walks on the beach. I would recommend and hope to returns soon!

Perfect Spot
We had the best week at this sweet beach front property. It’s so challenging to find a spot that is actually on the beach, we were worried it was too good to be true before we arrived. It was the perfect place for us. The windows make it feel like you’re taking advantage of the beach even when you’re inside. The beds were incredibly comfortable and felt luxurious. The kitchen was small but perfectly functional for what we needed (and impressively well stocked). The access to the beach is unrivaled and the proximity to Newburyport was an added bonus. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Great Relaxing Break
This getaway was exactly what our family needed. The spot is gorgeous, Rob provided everything we needed. This property has absolutely amazing beautiful view. We had a great week at the beach!
This house is on the sand, right in the middle of all the PI action. It’s like waking up in a postcard. Rob took good care of us, and it was so nice to be on the beach right out the front door. The house is a little rustic but has everything you need. Our dog enjoyed walks on the beach after 5:30, and we liked walking to the Sunset Club for drinks. Great stay!

Wonderful Beach Vacation!
We loved this place and the location. Perfect for a small family with young children. Walking distance to food and little shops. Hosts are wonderful. They were easy to contact and responded quickly. They even set out a treasure hunt for my daughter! We would definitely go back!

Weekend girls trip
Ideal location, size, amenities and condition for our annual girls weekend. Weather was cold and windy but we made the best of it because we could still see the water right from the living room. Can’t wait to go back next time later in summer months.

Never disappoints!
This was our second stay at the beach house and it was just as amazing as our first visit. The location is incredible, the little private beach area is perfect to enjoy when the beach is busy, and the house itself has everything you need (including impeccable views). Amazing beach location! Great in off season too!
Amazing location- you are literally in the dunes when you exit the house! Very well equipped home- two good sized bed rooms and smartly designed living space. We went during the winter and found the home to be cozy. Highly recommended!

Exceptional Views
I stayed at this property Dec 21 - Dec 27 of 2022. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this little oasis. The space is very cozy and welcoming. The views were spectacular, worth every dollar. Rob is terrific, he kept in contact with me especially during a storm that was impacting us. I highly recommend this beautiful home and hope to return in the near future. Thank you Rob!

Really enjoyed this slice of heaven 4 adults friends meeting from two sides of the world Perfect weather all the things we needed for 6 night stay Off season so not much activity on island However we lucked out with perfect fall weather Plum island great location if you have a car and want to your parts if New England the come back evenings to sit on the beach watch the stars We will be back

We enjoyed a wonderful fall weekend on Plum Island! The place was great - we have two young kids and being so close to the water was incredible; anything we needed at the house was steps away. The ice cream downstairs was a bit hit too! We would love to return in the future.

We were looking for a location that had a view of the ocean from indoors and easy access to the beach.Thiswas the most perfect for both! Mr.Rob has a great eye for detail. Property is literally right on the beach as advertised and it is amazing. The house was clean with beautiful views and has everything you need. Restaurants and convenience stores are in walking distance for anything you could possibly need. We would definitely rent from this place again.

Best Location - Relaxing
This is the best location for sunrises, access to the beach and just amazing views all day. The house was clean and had everything that was needed with a few extras. Plum island is quiet, yet there are a few good places to eat out and have some fun.

Great views, great beach, walking distance to many markets and restaurants. Ideal location. The beach was very busy over the weekend but much less populated during the week. We enjoyed it so much, we booked for next year before we left.

Great Beach House
I stayed here with my wife, son, his wife and to young grandchildren. The place is small but had plenty of room for us. It was clean and you step off the deck right onto the beach, you can't get any closer to the beach.

Communication with Rob was great and he seemed open to recommendations. Great beach location! View is outstanding. AC in each bedroom and LR a plus. House has plenty of beach and lounge chairs and beach umbrellas. Will likely book again.

Great location on Plum Island
Well maintained property at the junction of the Plum Island access and the beach. Access was easy and exactly as directions provided. There is tandem parking for two vehicles, which is great as the public lots get crowded pretty fast in the summer. Unit is upstairs apartment over an ice cream shop right on the beach. George, the proprietor of the shop, is friendly and helpful with suggestions for eating out. The ice cream is really good. The two small convenience stores on island have some basics, but for heavier grocery runs there is a Marketplace and a Shaw's about 4-5 miles away. Two bedrooms was more than enough space for us to spread out. Bath has been remodeled with a great shower and there is plenty of hot water. Towels provided. Kitchen has two-drawer refrigerator and separate under-counter freezer. Dishwasher works well. There is a European style washer-dryer combination that handles small loads, so we always had fresh towels and did not have to bring huge wardrobes. Coffee maker handles up to 16 cups and there is also a teakettle. No microwave but we did not miss it. Pans are much nicer than typical VRBO properties but do take a little care with hand washing. Plenty of silverware, plates and utensils for our needs. We didn't use any of the video equipment, but there is TV in the main living room and each bedroom. Living area TV drops into a cabinet so the view is unobstructed out the picture windows. Outside we had our own private beach/terrace or coiuld walk down to the main beach and ocean a few steps away. There are lounge chairs and umbrellas provided, as well as a grill on the deck with a table that seats four. We were there just before schools got out, so the crowds were very light. Downtown Newberryport looked inviting but we didn't get back in our car much once we got settled.

Amazing Sunrise
A vacation rental that was so much more than we expected!!! Extremely clean well maintained, and the amenities are exceptional. Rob and Stephanie the hosts were more than accommodating. We hope to make this a yearly tradition, my 8 yr. old grandson loved every second at the Beachfront. Our family was beyond thrilled!!

Perfect spot to People Watch and walk to Eat out
The property contained everything we needed for a normal house stay. Including dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, bathroom shower gels, even a multi-washer/dryer (we didn't use it) but it was great to know it's new and can be used. We rented it just before memorial day on purpose; so the typical lawn things that are out were minimal. Georgie Porgie's ice cream shop opened the Friday/Saturday we ended our week on and was very convenient if you have children who want ice cream and a snack right on the beach. It seems to quite down alot after 4pm on the beach itself so no worries if you are looking for peace and quiet and don't mind busy for the summer on the beach the area to sit and relax is far enough away from the general public to enjoy. Newer deck, outdoor shower with heated water was a nice plus and was used. Multi ways to exit the home which was convenient if you bring a dog as well. Very open, lots of windows, Modern bathroom/updated. Rob was very responsive to any question/concerns. There's one alarm I reported that needed a new battery which was noted for next rental group. Parking was easy and close to property. I had my parents and myself and then my boyfriend and his 2 kids (11 and 13) come up for a night and was great for all of us to share at once. Very comfortable. feedback on beds: Sofa pullout was very comfortable, pillows were great. King bed a bit high but firm and comfy. 2 Full beds in 2nd bedroom very soft if you like very soft mattresses. Book it you'll be happy you did.

Perfect Beachfront Family Celebration!
We had such a great time at this beautiful place! My mother-in-law wanted a beachfront getaway on Plum Island with family to celebrate her 80th birthday. She can’t stop talking about how much she loved the accommodation and all of the caring touches (dog dish, leash, toiletries, etc). Right on the beach with large picture windows, we fell asleep to the waves and woke up to the sunrise. Also located in the center of town, so an easy walk to shops and restaurants. A perfect way to celebrate her 80th🎂💖!

Perfect spot for enjoying Plum Island
We chose this rental for the location and it was perfect. We like walking the beach and visiting Parker River National Wildlife Refuge to walk the trails there. We also ate take out the whole weekend, and Plum Island has lots of good food within walking distance of this property. We love watching the ocean and you can see it from just about every window in this rental. Inside it was very clean and well equipped.

Seaside Bliss
Super convenient access to the beach and breathtaking sunrises. Host is extremely responsive and easily reached. Listing is accurately described. We had a very relaxing couple of days. The private sand area just off the porch was spectacular for our kids (5 and 7) to dig and play in while we sipped our coffee and enjoyed the view. Highly recommend!

Easter Get Away

Great place!
There is nothing better than staying on the beach. This house has it all. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Little treasures are all over, from welcome treats to the morning sunrises and then some! Walk to the local bait shop or fun restaurant! Walking on the beach every day with the dog was the best. So much to see and do! Thanks for the stay!

Small cottage right on the beach which is great, no matter what time of the year . Great location if you own a dog for those morning walks. The sunsets are amazing out the back window . New Year's on Plum Island

Getaway
A lovely spot on the ocean, just perfect for a getaway. Being right on the beach was a gift and you could hear the waves as you fell asleep. The host was gracious and helpful and the property was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were nice.
