I am writing to share my experience from a recent stay, which fell well below expectations. I had requested entry instructions 24 hours in advance due to travel and limited Wi-Fi, but did not receive them until three hours before check-in. Upon arrival, the directions were unclear, and I had to contact the owner for assistance just to access the property.I have had two recent ankle surgeries and, while I expected some stairs, the excessive number made access unnecessarily difficult.Once inside, there was a strong, unpleasant odor, requiring me to open windows immediately. The bedding was unacceptable—the blanket appeared worn, and the sheets were visibly stained and did not seem clean. I was uncomfortable sleeping in the bed and used my own blankets from my car as a barrier. I have photos/videos if needed.Additionally, the light above the bed would not turn off, making it nearly impossible to sleep. I left early the next morning after very little rest.Overall, this experience reflected poor communication, cleanliness, and basic functionality. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed for future guests.
