Muy mala experiencia El Personal del mostrador con pésima actitud, no hacen la limpieza todos los días, no hay elevador, el aseo deja mucho que desear.

Hotel con mucha onda, entre el Soho, Chinatown y Little Italy. Un ambiente agradable, apropiado para vivir la ciudad. Algunas habitaciones aun no están completamente remodeladas, sería importante asegurarse antes del check in, pues es un dato de confort importante.

me dieron habitación standard a precio de deluxe
reservamos una habitación deluxe y pedimos, que a ser posible, nos dieran una habitación tranquila, ya que debajo de las habitaciones hay varios establecimientos como bares y restaurantes, y nosotros queríamos descansar. Nos llaman por teléfono y nos confirman que se tienen una habitación tranquila, pero en ningún momento nos dicen que esa habitación no es deluxe, sino que es una standard, sin nevera, con el agua caliente estropeada, con las ventanas abiertas y sin calefacción a nuestra llegada, a la 01.00 am, con una niña de 3 años. Al día siguiente nos dicen que lo sienten mucho, pero que como yo había pedido una tranquila ellos me dieron la habitación más tranquila... Me dan la opción de cambiarme a una premium pagando un suplemento, o esperarme otra noche más por que no tenían deluxe disponibles, y ser cambiado a una habitación deluxe al dia siguiente, como si me hicieran un favor al cambiarme a una habitación correspondiente y acorde a lo que he pagado por mi reserva. Con lo que pasé la mitad de mi reserva en una habitación inferior a lo que yo había pagado.

Es un hotel vintage moderno con comodidad limitada sin ascensor , habitación sin placard y sin refrigerador. Todo lo demás está bueno lugar, ambiente y servicio

Un hotel que funciona para quien no espera mucho. Si vas con una persona de edad, con discapacidad motriz o si tiene algún problema físico, ni se te ocurra. No tiene elevador y las escaleras están muy inclinadas. Un peligro.

It’s a unique place. Room is comfortable, but sparse. Good for sleeping and changing clothes, but too small for much else.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff and housekeeping. Pretty good location near little Italy and a lot of little shops and cafes. The nearest subway station, Grand, is a bit dodgy around the outside. The room was clean and newly refurbished, with comfortable beds and big windows. The only thing I would suggest if you are a female staying there is to bring a lighted makeup mirror. The lighting in the room is fairly dim and moody, so we ended up having to turn on our phone flashlights to get ready to go out in the evening. Overall nice hotel and would be happy to stay there again.

The room we stayed in, 314 was horrific. Water stains on the ceiling, paint capping on the walls everywhere, rust and mold in the bathroom. No decor, just beds in a room. No artwork, not style. Certainly not like the online photos.

This room has good rooms, and then it has bad run down rooms. We got there around 1 pm and were told if we wanted to get into our room early we had to pay an extra $30, even though it was ready. Our view was horrendous, ceiling had water stains from a leaking ceiling, a light bulb as a chandelier, no artwork other than the chipping paint off the walls and rusting out pipes in the bathroom along with mold on the trim of the tub and an old beat up shower curtain. I certainly expect Ted more from the photos and reviews. I also rented a second room for friends that were joining and their room was really nice, so I guess we just grabbed the short straw.

I liked this hotel because it felt very NYC to us. It wasn't your basic Holiday Inn with your typical lobby. It was eclectic and fun, but warm and inviting. I also liked that, as a family of five, we could get a room with three actual beds (highly unusual anywhere). Coffee service in the morning was nice, but very limited (no creamer, no Splenda). Rooms are small, but so is everything in NYC. For the price and the cuteness and the easy access to everything including a subway stop/Little Italy/Chinatown/Soho, I would definitely stay here again. I did bring a noisemaker per other's comments about the noise and I do think that was a good choice. This is NYC after all!

This was exactly what my family of five needed. I decent bed to sleep in. The lobby, service and coffee/tea available are great. While in NYC we were gone all day and basically there to hang out for a short while in the evening and sleep. The rooms are nothing special beds/tv/ basic bath but that is all we needed. There is a spot to hang out play games (my boys played chess while eating ice cream every evening).

The Sohotel was in the perfect area of NYC. Super close to Chinatown and Little Italy. Tons of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel has an extensive selection of Tequila and Mezcal. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A MUST STAY!!!

Convenient location and friendly staff. The public areas were nice. The bed in the room was cheap and uncomfortable, and I could hear everything the guy next door did, including getting in from a night of partying at 3:30 in the morning.

I liked the location and ease of parking most of all, so important for us! There is no refrigerator, iron, or microwave in the room but that’s ok considering it’s Manhattan. I used to live in the City and expect quaint living spaces. The room was quite cozy for me and my family (4 total). However, the walkability to Soho, Little Italy, Chinatown, etc. made up for the lack of space. Beds were comfy and overall, I would book again.

I loved this hotel! Stayed overnight with a couple friends and it was perfect. Very good location close to many other things. The room was very spacious with mini fridge heat and AC. Interior was eye catching and unique. Staff was unbelievably helpful. Only thing is the utilities in the bathroom were a little outdated and obviously have been through some wear and tear. Still functional though. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

Expedia has this property rated as a 4 star. It is not. It is a 3 star as per their own website. We booked a "junior suite" for 3 times the price of a regular room. It was just a regular room. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. Our room turned out to be on the 4th floor. The gentleman who checked us in offered to help with our bags and then disappeared. No staff really visible or available during our stay. No phones in rooms, so to try to contact the front desk,you use your phone to call the main number. No coffee in rooms. No robes, no slippers, no q-tips, no duvet covers, no housekeeping unless you request it (we did not). Decor is Love Island meets 1980's Goth, but not in a good way. Really dim lighting hiding a lot of chipped paint/deferred maintenance. Our bathroom was nice and I liked the underfloor heating, but no soap dishes are provided so when you open a soap it is just soggy, sticky on the sink. The black "grout" between the tiles in the shower came off on my washcloth. The shampoo/conditioner and body wash are good quality. There is TV, gets about 12 chanels. The TV guide does not work, but it was fairly easy for us to "cast" from our phones and tablets.

Very convenient location for restaurants and bars in Bowery. Close to Little Italy, SoHo, Chinatown, and East Village. Staff was helpful with luggage storage. Booked the basic room, which was plenty for two people.

The place is decorated super cute, is totally clean, and beds are comfy! Location is super walkable to tons of restaurants and bars. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! They also had an amazing tea bar in the lobby with so many different varieties. Would stay here again for sure!
