The in-room coffee machine was extremely loud, had video instructions only, didn't work half the time, and only made tiny cups of coffee. The room was unbearably hot; they didn't have any notices that the room's thermostat would only produce hot air no matter the setting. I had to go downstairs in the middle of the night to inquire, and was told that it only produces heat until the summer, and the only option was to open the window. I had to push to even get a fan. The windows only barely open, and one window didn't stay open. Pillows weren't comfortable. Not even outlets. Not enough surfaces in the bathroom. No hair dryer. Only one working elevator out of 4, though they promise this is temporary. Overall nice quality aside from the coffee machine, which is important to us. Location was great. Everything else not already noted was fine. All in all, it wasn't the worst stay we've ever had, but it certainly didn't meet expectations based on reviews. Be warned if you're coming here in spring or fall—THE ROOM WILL BE HOT. And if you like your coffee, good luck. No apparent breakfast either.

We took the smallest suite and it was still very spacious and comfortable, with a living room and a small kitchen. You need to know that Expedia describes it with a free parking. That is wrong, it is 35$ per day. Perfect location to visit NY

There is miscommunication between Expedia and the hotel. There is no free parking and check in time is at 4:00 pm, not 3:00 pm.

Very nice staff. We had a one bedroom, 2 bathroom on the 18th floor. Roomy, newly renovated bathrooms. Having been in some very small NYC hotel rooms, I would definitely stay here again. Calm, quiet club floor on the 26th floor open to anyone.

The hotel is in an excellent, walkable location. It's not quiet--NYC is a very noisy city! There is a 24 hour doorman and front desk which made it feel safe. The furniture in the living area of our executive junior sutie was a bit worn. The style of the sofa caused the cushions to slide out when you sat down. It was otherwise quite comfortable. The windows only opened about 3 inches, and the cooling system/fan seemed to make the room warmer. I tend to get too hot at night so that was a bother. I never asked for a fan--so that was my fault as they were very accomodating.

The check in process because your website did not disclose that there would be an exorbinet hold on my credit card and your APP said there was free on site parking and there is not and you said on your web site that check in is at 3pm and it is not it is at 4pm You are not honest Hotels.com and I will never use you again The hotel was wonderful especially the staff at the front desk

I've stayed here before; I'm usually glad to come back to the Manhattan Club. BUT, this time the housekeeping staff failed to replenish the coffee, we couldn't get the coffee maker to work on the second day, and the room was freezing cold (69 degrees) our first night; I turned the temp up to 73, but it was 78 degrees in our room when I awoke, totally overheated. Wish we had a better stay.

Valet parking was excellent. Free parking was included. Street area in front of hotel was reserved for loading, unloading and valet parking drop off. Check in was easy. Stayed on second floor. Quiet. Ice machine on that floor.
