El personal fué súper atento y amable, la persona que nos recibió nos permitió hacer check in antes de la hora indicada y la persona que nos atendió para el check out nos permitió dejar las maletas en el hotel en lo que desayunabamos sin costo alguno.

I liked that it’s located in SoHo. I didn’t like how I was told they keep a photo copy of your ID on file and you have to sign a contract but this wasn’t mentioned beforehand. Elevator, hallway & comforter smelled musty. I didn’t like how loud and clear someone’s tv blaring after midnight came thru crystal clear in my room and there’s no staff on site to assist. Also the shower should have been cleaner… Front desk staff were nice.

The checkin process was weird and while it worked out, i wasn’t confident that i did it right ti we checked in…. It worked out ok, but wasn’t clear it could all be done on my phone even the room key

The walls were filthy. The towels were paper thin. Being along Canal Street was incredibly noisy but the walls were also very thin. All this would have been ok it the price had been low but I paid more than $300 per night.

Not worth the “cheap” rate — towels were old and scratchy, food was left in the refrigerator, the room was dark and the elevator smelled rank. When I told the front desk attendant at check in, he just shrugged. The best part was the shower, small but a great shower head. Gun-ho (spelling is off) who was at the front desk when I left was the absolute best part of the whole stay. Gun-ho gave 5 star service and was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Arrived before check in and left my bags with desk. Received a text when my room was ready and they had my bags in my room when I got there. Very small room. Fine for a place to stay. Nice that there is water and coffee in lobby.

The mean heating unit wasn't working. They gave a portable heater which makes a lot of noise. The staff was mean and not helpful at all because they try to minimize the interaction with the guests

The Sohotel had some nice features. They had a room with two beds which is hard to find in NYC. It was clean and the beds were comfy. The room was small. The bathroom was renovated and nicely done. No heater in the bathroom. The neighborhood is moist at night with traffic. Staff was helpful and friendly. For the price it was good. The lobby was decorated really strangely. Multi colored primary colored panels. Good restaurants nearby including The Butler and Eataly.

Where am I staying?
The room was lovely and fine. The bed comfortable. My issue is that I had some access issues to the room, and for clarity they were of my own making, but it would have been nice to have a 24/7 call number which would have been helpful in recognizing my mistake. Other than that… great.

A great value for the cost
For the price, pretty stellar. Literally the smallest room I've ever stayed in--and I've stayed in a ton of tiny NYC rooms. That said, everything about it was totally fine. It was clean, there were no bedbugs, the shower had nice hot water, towels were fine, etc. There was even a Nepresso machine in the lobby and I pulled a few good shots in the AM. I needed a cheap place to sleep for 8 hours and it did the trick!

2 nights in downtown
Good location near Chinatown, little Italy and SoHo. This is a no frills hotel. Safe, inexpensive and comfortable enough for a very tiny room. Overall just fine. Earplugs were appreciated!

Good Basic Option
Great basic room. Reasonable price. No frills. Room very small but clean. Helpful if you are able to shower, toilet, and shave in a phone booth. Front desk staff were awesome and very helpful. Great location at junction of China Town, Soho, Tribeca, and Chelsea.

This is a glorified dorm room, complete with mini-fridge, insufficient towels, and plywood furniture. They have "quiet hours." If you need to do it for the price, okay, but know it's more basic then basic.
