Love it. Stayed for 1 night, safe walk distance from grand central. They were able to give us a room ready before check in. Great customer service. I will return next time. 10/10.

Everything was great. I would encourage anyone to stay at this hotel. The only very small complaint is that the door to the hallway was a bit small and the "cracks" around the edges let in a lot of light from the hallway and we're used to it being really dark.

Unfortunately, this was disappointing from a cleanliness perspective. It’s also extremely dated and in poor aesthetic condition. Perhaps my expectations were overstated given the price of the room.

The carpet in our room needed to be replaced as well as refresh with paint. The sheets definitely need to be replaced as they did not smell fresh. Otherwise, it was a great location and the staff was the best!

I usually love the Fitzpatrick; it's my go-to hotel when I'm here for work due to its proximity to our store. The staff is always super nice and while it's an older hotel, the rooms are usually fine. This time was a little different though -- the room I was in had no working heat (it's February). They did have a space heater in the room and to their credit, it kept the room at a decent temp. But leaving that on all day and night is a fire hazard and I felt like I couldn't leave it on while I was out of the room -- I kept coming back to an ice box. Not the end of the world if that's the only issue but in addition, the room REEKED of mold. You could see it on the shower tiles, you could see cracks and patches on the ceiling from where rain had leaked through the window (meaning, there was likely mold in the ceiling) — I ended up with a headache the first night from the overwhelming smell. Again, old hotel, things like this happen, but it wasn't a pleasant experience this time around. I will likely be back because I've had mostly positive experiences with this location but this trip fell below expectations.

Ideal location, excellent service.
Comfortable, well maintained and in an excellent location. The biggest bonus is the staff who were professional, friendly and attentive. As regular visitors to New York, we found the level of service superior to anywhere we have stayed in the past. We will definitely be back!

Terrific. Just one problem, which I managed to solve: I have three electronics, all of which need to be charged overnight. Both in the room and the bathroom presented one difficulty: thr plugs kept falling out of the sockets. I finally used just one for the night and the other in the morning. Could have been worse. Very Good Deal
Couldn't have asked for a better experience, staff were fantastic and a nice welcome after a long day. Hotel was really clean and this is a very convenient spot , I would definitely recommend this and I plan to stay there again. Staff Alexandria and Alexis helped me in the morning and were very professional and positive!

Warming and Inviting
I always enjoy returning to the Fitzpatrick Hotel. The rooms are spacious (well, for NYC), clean and very quiet. Best of all is the staff - warm and engaging. They really make you feel like you're an old friend. Looking forward to my next visit "home"!

Good brother trip
I met up with my brother and we stayed here for an evening. We really enjoyed the bar. The Irish breakfast was very good. In the room is exactly what we needed. Great location.
