Yes the host was welcoming but there were two major issues 1. The location address was totally different than where we stayed. Instead of being a block away from the subway we were were eight blocks up a big hill. We had a baby and two toddlers. 2. Even though it's no days prior to our arrival, the steps to the apartment had 3 to 4 in of ice on it and were very dangerous and made going into the apartment the first day extremely dangerous and difficult to bring our belongings. After we complain, they cleared the steps the next day

We were given the wrong addresses for check-in. Luckily my brother arrived first because I would have had to order a second car to get from the location given to the actual location. The house was clean enough but the yard looks like a dumpster exploded. Parking was easy if you can ignore the pile of trash in the backyard. The upstairs neighbors were aggressively arguing the first night. The second night they came in late you could hear moving furniture and then afterwards they started cooking food that stunk up the entire house.I made the host aware the morning of the second day. I was told I should have said something sooner and they would have addressed the noise then. If I had gotten a more apologetic response I would have been more satisfied. Besides it was after midnight and we just wanted to get to sleep, I felt uncomfortable complaining about someone I’m sharing a house with. I checked out a day early because my brother had to leave for work and I didn’t want to stay in the house by myself. I also couldn’t take the smell of the cooking food a minute longer.

Property was great. Initial check in, we had to go to a different address from what was sent to us. Glad we checked in before it got too late. Neighbors above us on 2nd floor were loud into the night. Nothing wrong with the property itself but noise was a big issue for us.

House was great - process was awful

When we showed up the address we were given was incorrect. We only very luckily were able to get the landlords phone # from a neighbor. We then got the correct address and went to the apt. The outside of the apt was littered with trash and the driveway was blocked with garbage cans. All that said - the inside was spotless and exactly as expected. One note there were no garbage bags or paper towels or anything else one might expect so bring your own.

Zunächst mal gab es zwei unterschiedliche Adressen vom Gastgeber und von fewo-direkt.de. konnte zwar geklärt werden, aber das geht so nicht.Die Wohnung an und für sich war ok. Eines der Badezimmer ist nur über eines der Schlafzimmer erreichbar. Handtücher waren nicht sauber, haben wir selbst nach Ankunft gewaschen.Die Decke zu den oberen Nachbarn besteht aus Holz, daher ist jeder Schritt und Gespräche zu hören. Die Nachbarn hatten mehrfach Besuch, so dass es sehr laut wurde, auch über die Ruhezeit hinaus bis 1.30 am. Der Nachbar wurde von uns darauf hingewiesen. Das brachte aber keine Änderung des Verhaltens. Ich würde hier 2x von Ruhe störendem Lärm sprechen. Deshalb würde ich diese Wohnung nicht wieder nehmen.

Great for family or friend groups

We needed a large place for our family to stay for a wedding. This was perfect. It was spacious enough for 5 adults to stay comfortably and we were able to entertain family and friends after the wedding. The kitchen is beautifully renovated and there’s a dining table that seats 8 comfortably. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and there is parking for one car in the driveway. Parking was a little tight on the street due to construction But would definitely recommend to others!

Delivery Driver Fun

Expect to be woken up, and kept up, at 1AM by delivery driver parties connected to your building. Owner here promised it wouldn’t happen again - happens again the following night. Not a great look. Honestly, wouldn’t recommend. Unless owner clamps down tomorrow on those fine scholarly gentlemen connected to your building.

Nice accommodation

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. We came to NY for the US Open. While the home met the needs of our group, it was not as easy to get to the tennis center as we had hoped. That being said, it was a nice place.

Great place

This place was great! A really nice alternative to a hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was great! Very quick assistance when needed. Our only complaint was could really use some new pillows. If available will probably try to stay here next year for our trip.

Home away from Home

Nested on a quite residential block was an oasis. We had more than enough space to accommodate us. The host was very helpful with the Check-in process. The only issues we had was, there were alot of families that lived within the house, so alor of foot activities going on throughout the day and night.

Spacious Apartment

My family of 8 had a wonderful stay here. There was lots of space to accommodate us all. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware to make meals at home. Having a designated driveway to park in was a nice addition, even with a 220V plug for an EV charger.

Lux all new 4 bedroom Jamaica Queens

Very clean. Nicely renovated, and close enough to walk to the subway. Description is accurate, and does state this is an apartment, however, it fails to mention that there are 4 families living there and the soundproofing is next to none. People just walking upstairs is loud, not to mention if there’s any yelling or kids playing loudly. Very nice apartment, very attentive owner and manager, but know you will be sharing it closely (like connecting doors close).

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood with close proximity to airports and Queens College. Simple and comfortable furnishings. Nice living room lounging sofas with WiFi TV for logging in on your viewing apps. Comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms!

VRBO rental home review

NY Trip - Memorial Service

The home is lovely, looks newly remodeled and nicely done. Beds were all comfortable. Nice to have a driveway to park the car. Was ideally located for our trip. There was a smoke detector beeping in one of the bedrooms and when notified the issue was corrected quickly. Enjoyed our stay.
