This was a great stay! The view was so so good! It’s a laidback beach theme. My mom and I loved it. She said the bed was very comfortable and I slept on the couch bed which was also very comfortable. Though the couch bed probably wouldn’t be suited for a very tall person. I am 5’7 and it was great for me. The only slight discomfort was the water didn’t get super hot the first day - but seemed to get better the last day. It might have been something with the building- as they were doing some maintenance while we were there. Anyway, we loved it so much! You cannot beat the view - and the part of the beach it is on is perfect. Still near tons of restaurants and the grocery store - but not as busy as up the beach. Nice! Thank You David for a lovely stay.

The check-in process was easy. The office was opened when we arrived, and we were able to get our parking pass. I had requested an early check-in and David emailed me the night before that we would be able to check in early. The unit was clean and adequately furnished with towels, dishes, pots and pans. He provided dawn dishwashing liquid, pods for dishwasher and pods for washing machine as well as bounce. However, I brought my own and left in unit for the next guest. Teh view was amazing. I could sit in the living room in the most comfortable rocking chair recliner and look at the beach all day. The unit had cable and was a ROKU TV so i was able to use my apps if I did not want to watch cable. We will be back again, and we will stay in this unit. As far as the property itself. I felt safe. It has a very nice and large pool. There is security. There is beach access. I cannot say enough good things about the unit. The property is so nice, we talked about purchasing a unit when we retire. The other guests were friendly. Some were owners and some were renters. Many of the renters had been staying at this property every summer for years. Again, can't say enough nice things about the unit and the property. Oh, I almost forgot. The unit has the nicest and very comfortable patio furniture.

Interaction with David

Unfortunately there was a last minute unforseen issue with the AC unit and we were not able to stay in Davids unit. He immediately let us know the issue and he worked with the property manager to secure us a different unit at the property. He went above and beyond to help us and keep in contact with us thru the entire process. Thank you David and also Linda the property manager who went above and beyond to help with the situation!! Linda's kindness and attention to our issue was much appreciated!!

A beautiful property!

We planned to stay for a weekend getaway before a conference I was attending in Orlando. Unfortunately the AC in this unit had some issues the day before we were scheduled to arrive. Dave, the owner called me right away and worked with the property manager to find me another unit with a view. He was in constant contact to make sure I got what I wanted! Linda the property manager was so kind and helpful. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property and Dave gave us some great recommendations for dinners. Even though we didn’t stay at his place he let us use his beach chairs. He and Linda made sure we had everything we needed! This property is directly on the beach and was absolutely perfect!

Good value

Location and amenities were good but the heated pool wasn't very warm. If you like a firm bed you will not like the memory foam bed. One of us used the couch in the living room because it was much firmer. Overall good stay!

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay at David’s condo in New Smyrna. Were able to walk to restaurants and of course walk the beach which is literally right in front of you. Downtown New Smyrna is quaint and full of shops and dining. Also took a quick drive to Daytona for Biketober Week..
