We had a great time on the beach and in the area. We enjoyed the house and its great living areas, the comfy beds and towels and linens. Appreciated the kitchen-dining-living room space, loved the decks, appreciated the updated bathrooms (some were not). The spaces were great. But the condition of the house and garage maintenance, and condition of the furniture which obviously has pets in mind and not the pet-less (cushions stained and torn), leaves much opportunity for improvements. There were only a couple opportunities for better cleaning, with most areas clean. We really appreciated that there were zero indoor critters sharing the house. Those issues did not deter us from having a great time, and I can't even say decreased the value of the VRBO because of the location. But. They did contribute to a sense of not being provided the quality we thought we were getting when we booked, therefore giving the 4 of 5 for value. Next time we VRBO we will better understand the pet factor.

This house has a happy atmosphere. It has multiple spaces for eating, relaxing, playing games - perfect for getting together with extended family. Direct beach access allowed us to spend all day on the beach. The beach is clean and water is clear - cars are allowed on the beach so you have to be careful with children.

We absolutely loved this house. Coffee on the deck every morning was a highlight. It was clean and well organized. Highly recommend. Our kids asked if we could rent the house again, that says a lot.

We loved the location and the house in general. The only negative was some of the stale air and salt from the ocean, but what do you expect? We got used to it and it was fine. We definitely liked the close proximity to the ocean, which allowed for beach time at a moment’s notice. The outside decks were great and provided a nice cool ocean breeze. We are very happy with our rental and would do it again if we come back.

Great house right on the beach

We had a wonderful time in this house with my children, grandchildren and Grand dog. We were in NSB to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday and this spot was perfect. The house is beautiful, comfortable, well stocked and had an amazing view of the ocean just steps from the house. We will be back!

Perfectly located for an enjoyable beach stay

We enjoyed everything this home offered. Private rooms and bathrooms for all of us. A very well stocked, huge kitchen. We really enjoyed the outdoor balcony and the walkover to the beach. Very close proximity to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Nice home in great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! There were items that make the stay even better, such as high quality sheets and towels, well stocked kitchen, extremely clean, and a great ocean and beach view. There is also a small yard to play ball or games. Beach access is very close to the home. However, we had 2 disappointments. The home is not as advertised regarding number of people it sleeps and beds. The home only sleeps 9, not 12. Fortunately one of our sons and his family cancelled at the last minute. If they had come we would have had an issue. Second, we were happy to see the fireplaces advertised since it’s still winter and was projected to be cold. However, both fireplaces were covered with boards and were not usable. Overall, a great stay, and we will stay again!
