First, the house is on the beach so that we can wake up to sunrise every morning.Second, the house is large enough that the 11 of us can be together in the main room and kitchen area, or we can have sufficient space for time alone in the large, well-furnished bedrooms.

Beautiful home for a large family. We had a lovely time here. As central FL locals who truly love New Smyrna Beach we wish the owners had window coverings for their ocean front windows for the turtles at night and in compliance with Volusia county law. “Turtle glass” filters some of the light and is a great first step, but alone is inadequate for compliance with law and inadequate to fully protect the endangered turtles who nest at night on the beach. This house is the brightest on the beach at night in this area; it’s disappointing. There are window coverings on the first floor, but no directions to use them starting at 9pm, so renters from out of town will not know. Perhaps cellular shades would not obstruct the stunning windows in daytime. Truly the view is unparalleled in the day!

The location and parking were great. It was close to shopping and restaurants. The house was adequately stocked with dishes and linens. There were a few areas of the house that could have been cleaner but overall it was acceptable. The whole family enjoyed our vacation in NSB.

Great location!

Right on the beach, house is great size with a space downstairs for the teens to hang out. The kitchen has everything we needed. The house is a little older, but in good shape inside. We hope to visit again!

Family fun

Overall a great stay, highly recommend! There were a few hiccups (WiFi modem/router wasn’t working and we needed to have a new one mailed to the house; the owner was great about arranging everything for that!), she got back to us very quickly! A few maintenance needs, but nothing that significantly affected our stay. Great views from the ocean-facing windows!

The house was perfect for our extended family vacation. Access to the beach was great, loved the patio and rocking chairs, and appreciated a fully stocked kitchen. Also had a one year old with us who just learned to walk so we really appreciated the baby gates at the top of the steps.

Family Beach Thanksgiving

This property was perfect in spacing and is my favorite location on New Smyrna Beach. We all enjoyed the access to the ocean, walking to the jetty, Breakers and Flagler Avenue.

Great location but needs some care

This home was attractive with comfortable beds and good-sized rooms. The location is great, very close to the sand. My family of 13 with three generations stayed for a week. While images are representative, they don't tell the entire story; this home is roomy but really needs basic maintenance and care. It very much looks like a rental property with a minimal amount of money invested in upkeep. There are two flights of stairs in the property, which can be difficult for those of limited mobility, but there are also several random steps around that cause tripping - some are a few inches tall and some are regular step height. We had a few in our party fall and several almost fall; because the floor is all the same color with no contrast on the steps, it is difficult to distinguish a single step in various areas. We put brightly colored removable painter's tape on the steps all over the house that really helped to see where the edges were. The furniture in most of the rooms is minimal quality and doesn't always fit what you might want to store in it, and there are not many hangers in the few closets available (the primary "wardrobe" only had 4 plastic hangers, which we supplemented with a package we bought). The only shade on the patio is a table umbrella and a portable canopy with one leg broken. Our family had a great time there, but I wouldn't rent this property again. If a little money was invested to spruce up the property it would be much more comfortable and inviting.

Great location

Nice location right on the beach. Vehicles will be driving on the beach in front of the house, so be aware of that. Had some trouble with washer, dryer, and dishwasher but made do. Overall a nice time!

Family vacation

Our group included kids, grandkids and significant others. The house is ideally located close enough to Flagler to walk to restaurants and attractions but just far enough away from the z a heavier beach crowds that gather near Flagler Ave. The home is comfortable and has plenty of space to spread out. The beach is just a few steps off the porch. The porch was great for hanging out with the family enjoying the sea breeze and listening ocean surf. We look forward to coming back.

Holiday Paradise

This is our second Thanksgiving here, and we hope to return again next year! It is the perfect place for family to get together to cook, walk the beach, and enjoy nearby shops and restaurants. We love the ocean view, the spacious layout, the exceptionally well equipped double kitchens, the family sized dining area, the direct beach access. Thank you for another perfect holiday.
