Overall amazing house with awesome amenities for the entire family. Responsive host. The one area for improvement would be the poolside cabana. It’s in need of some TLC as far as maintenance…a bit shabby. Would still give the overall experience 5 stars. Bravo!

Friend Reunion

We had an incredible weekend at Hawkview Retreat as a group of old college friends + families. This is an annual trip, first time at Hawkview, won’t be our last. The house is exactly what you’d need in versatility, beautiful amenities indoor and outdoor, and a responsive + helpful host. It’s also well contained and safe for kids around the house. We will be back!

A true five star experience!

I was very unsure about choosing this property, because it was more than I usually spend, but I'm so glad that I did! From the luxurious linens to the top notch kitchen appliances this place has it all. The game room brought many hours of entertainment for all ages, It was a little too chilly to get full use of the pool, but the two hot tubs got plenty of use, The movie theater not only served as a fun evening of watching flicks but it got the creative juices running for my grandchildren who put on daily shows that fully entertained all.the adults. Jeff proved to be a wonderful host who quickly responded to, any questions or needs. We also had a great hike at nearby Hawk Mountain. This was truly a five star experience!

Family Reunion

Everything about the house was as listed and in most cases better. We had a large group of mixed ages and everyone had comfortable spaces and it was easy to entertain in the house. The pool was a bit hit as well as the movie theater! Overall I definitely recommend the house. I took off one star for location simply because there isn't much in the area in terms of things to do outside the house, however as the house is so great you don't really need much else!

Just as listed

Anyone who has stayed at VRBO knows that listings (like resumes) may be embellished sometimes. Not the case here, place was just as advertised and probably better. Plenty of kitchen accessories, handled our group of 18 perfectly. Even when a couple of kids wanted to change bedrooms, plenty to choose from. Pool was nicely heated, house was comfortable and vies spectacular. Only thing bad about the property was we only had it for week. Could have easily stayed another. Thanks to Jeff and his team.

Wonderful place

This place is amazing!!! We rented this home for a weekend to celebrate my husband’s 40th. The home has everything you can imagine! All our friends were extremely impressed, as none of us has ever seen a house like this. Jeff and Sarah were very attentive and communication was great! I highly recommend this place!!!

Exceptional Stay at Hawkview Retreat!

Our recent stay at Hawkview Retreat surpassed all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were awed by the stunning space. The house just goes on and in such a natural way. Multiple open lounges for any size group to hang out in. Fireplaces everywhere some gas some wood. so cozy The accommodations were truly remarkable, with each guest feeling as though they had their own master suite, thanks to the spacious and impeccably appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen, equipped with gourmet appliances and a coffee bar, made group meals a pleasure. Beyond the amenities, the property's thoughtful touches, such as a fully stocked coffee bar, and a surplus of towels and firewood just made the trip even easier when entertaining such a large group. The house really did blow us away. I can't wait to return!"

Great stay in a beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay in this home over the weekend. The kitchen was large and spacious and so were all the living areas. The game room was well kept and had the kids busy for most of the weekend. The outdoor pool was large and beautiful although we did not get to use it because of the weather, we did use the hot tub

Luxurious Vacation Rental

Every summer for the last 15 years, our family of 18 rents a house for a 1-2 week vacation. We’ve had our fair share of rental experiences, and this house far surpasses them all. It is well-stocked, with everything from 100s of towels, throw blankets in every room, and every kitchen item you might need. The place was immaculately clean. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the bedrooms are large. The rental is very family-friendly - there are high chairs and booster seats, sound machines, swaddles, pack-n-plays, and a complete play room. The theater room is cozy and fun, and the huge game room created hours of entertainment. Our family spent a lot of time outside at the beautiful pool and spa area - it was like a private country club! Most family-friendly attractions are about an hour away, but there was so much to do at the house that we didn’t need to leave. The estate is totally private with beautiful views of the surrounding forests and mountains. As another review said, this house actually looked like the photos. Jeff, the property manager, was very responsive. Our first day, there was an issue with the A/C, and they had it resolved within 24 hours. We left an item behind and he happily mailed it to us. This was a summer vacation our family will not forgot!

great family trip

Some properties look good in the pictures, but not in person. This property was even nicer in person than the pictures! Plenty of room for the entire clan; play things for the kids, and beautiful and clean pool for the whole family, and plenty of seating for all of us to catch up on life. If you don't carve out time, life will pass you by! Great family get-together in a great location! Close enough to civilization, but nestled in the woods. Just right!

Very nice home

The property is spacious and beautiful. The owners communicate immediately and constantly with you through the whole process. This is one of the most well stocked rentals I have ever stayed in. I did not like a contract that was presented to me 5 days before arrival to execute nor did I believe it was necessary. The only other issue I had is the property is monitored down to having noise meters throughout. You need to trust your guests to be respectful and enjoy their time which we did in both regards.
