"The first night there was a party in the 3rd floor until 6 AM just below our apartment. We could not sleep at all and next day we had to leave early to the Cliffs of Moher. We finally complain in the reception the day after. They said that we should have told them the same night. "Aran View Country House was the perfect venue for 18 of us (!) (including the back house) to celebrate our Irish heritage with our father. The in-house "pub" was a perfect gathering place in the evenings, as was the pool room. Industrial kitchen was amazing, as was the dining room. "Fabulous views and location on the water, very near the centre of town. Four good comfortable double beds, 3 bathrooms with showers and toilets, plenty of towels, blankets, pillows etc. Kitchen well provisioned with some nice extras provided: milk, cereal, waters, cokes, biscuits, coffee beans with grinder and coffee filters/machine etc. All nice and clean. "We were 3 couples. We spent 40 minutes searching for car park and entrance. We called the contact and he said he would meet us, finally lucked into ringing an apartment bell and found him. He helped us from then on and things smoothed out. The main floor bathroom was far from the 3rd bedroom and like the head on a sailboat. "There were seven in our group, four adults and three teenagers. The home was very comfortable with plenty of room. It was a good jumping off point for day trips to Galway and Shannon, and lots of sightseeing in between. Sally was a great host, and very quickly responded to a couple of requests we had. "This place was awesome! Loved the dark and moody vibes. Everyone having their own bathroom was quite lovely. The walkability to the main streets was perfect. Space to park cars was very helpful.
