Great location! Quiet looking at a beautiful farm. Easy access to Strasburg and Lancaster. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only problem was being unable to log in to the WiFi but it’s good to unplug, right?! The homemade bread and butter was a really special and delicious touch! Thank you!

Farm Charm with Modern Amenities

We decided to stay at this property due to its location to Sight & Sound. It was the perfect country get away! They have restored this home with beautiful hardwood floors, and a modern and spacious kitchen. The back deck was lovely, as well as the rocking chairs in the front. A little cafe was just down the street and we enjoyed watching for horse and buggy, listening to all the local farm animals and seeing the fireflies at night. A truly peaceful stay.Our host was very responsive and left freshly baked bread, butter and cookies for us upon arrival.It is important to note that two of the bedrooms upstairs are a bit tight. We knew this going in, but just something to be aware of.

This is one of the nicest VRBO's we've ever stayed at. Clean, well-stocked (including extra linens, towels, and blankets), beautifully decorated, a helpful binder with local information (places to eat, emergency information, etc)... absolutely wonderful!! The garden is gorgeous and the creek peaceful and lovely. We hope to visit again!

There is no better place stay. Nothing negative about the place. Has everything you could possibly need and then some. Homemade snacks when you check in......cannot get that service at a local hotel!

Wonderful Getaway

We had the most wonderful stay at the Stone House on Beaver Creek as a family with 1 and 3 year-old children. We booked the rental for a visit to Dutch Wonderland, but the house and property were really the main attraction (though we also enjoyed Old Windmill Farm and the adventure farm). The house was well-equipped and very clean, to the extent that we had no qualms about our littlest one crawling around. Beautiful touches everywhere, just as pictured. We absolutely loved spending time in the yard, and months later my preschooler is still talking about the creek. The owners and their family were lovely and very welcoming. We may be returning to the area just to stay at the house again! Highly recommend.

Cozy Country Cottage

This house was absolutely charming and beautiful! It was such a relaxing environment and brought restoration to the soul. Everything was beautifully maintained. Getting to chat with the owner was an added blessing!

Simply Perfect

Perfect taste of Lancaster County Charm. My wife and I are born and bred Lancastrians. Moved away 12 years ago. Staying at the Historic House on Beaver Creek brought us back to the simple beauty and peace of Lancaster County. Great place to stay and unwind.

Exactly what we needed

We were in and out for a family wedding all weekend. Location was perfect. Accessibility was very easy. The homemade bread, butter and chocolate chip cookies were much appreciated and delicious!

Girls weekend

We went to see Noah. Would highly recommend. It was amazing. We hung at the house and played games. We ate lunch at Shady Maple Smorgasbord and visited Kitchen Kettle Village. So much to do and not enough time. Would stay again!!

Peaceful Girls Trip

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We enjoyed the peaceful setting, beautiful garden, porches, cleanliness, decor, and your amazing bread, butter, and cookies. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed watching your horses from the deck every morning. We were on a girl's trip and felt so safe due to the timed window candles and secure door locks. We get together once a year and this trip was extra peaceful and refreshing for us - we did not want to leave!

The house and property was simply stunning! We take the grandkids on a mini vacation every year and they want to return to this spot next year. They really enjoyed the creekside and of course the grandmothers enjoyed the beautiful gardens!

Comfortable house in lovely location

We (5 adult family members) really enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching buggies go by and seeing the horses across the road. And it was a good base for exploring the area.
