Fantastic family home in superb New Plymouth location
Our family visits New Plymouth often to visit family and we were so stoked to find this place to stay. Awesome location so close to town, the coastal walk way, Paritutu Rock, Iona dairy for giant icrcreams etc. Lovely place to stay and the kids appreciated the toys, swinging chair and massage chair! We would love to come back again.

Our piece of paradise!
This house was beautiful and all modern facilities. We were down for the Taranaki womens 4s so was ideal for the greens. Would suggest looking at the head of the shower, other than that a 10+ from us all.

Lovely property.
Lovely property, great location, toys and games for the kids, dvds and books also available. Across the road from a park which the kids loved. Nice to have an air conditioner as it was so hot while we were there. Dishwasher was also a bonus.

Fun and relaxing time in New Plymouth
We came from the states to visit our son and grandson. They live in Whangarei and we wanted to explore the West side of the island. New Plymouth was fun! The walks along the ocean were beautiful! We went to he museum and played mini golf twice! Our 9 year old grandson has a blast! The cottage was great! It had everything we needed and the sleeping was great! Lovely house
We initially booked for 4 then extended to 6 thinking it might be a bit crammed but were pleasantly surprised that the house fit us all comfortably. The kids loved the toys and we loved the location. Highly recommend!

Sehr ruhig gelegenes Stadthaus
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschön ausgestattetem Stadthaus sehr genossen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was für unsere Annehmlichkeit benötigt wurde. Trotz der Nähe zu einer Hauptverkehrsstraße ist es dort sehr ruhig. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Loads more space than expected, the kids loved the toys and the chocolate and crisps were most welcomed after the long journey down! A great location for exploring the coast and Mount Taranaki.

Highly recommended
If you are looking for a comfortable, homely and well situated place to stay in New Plymouth you cannot do better than this property. It is well set up for your stay and close to the coastal walkway along which you can walk into town in about 30 min., perfect!

Clean, Comfortable & Convenient
This property is very good for those who are staying in New Plymouth for more than a few days; it is well equipped for day to day living, a real kitchen, BBQ, laundry equipment etc. which we totally appreciated...quite private too, with nice side yard to enjoy a meal or morning coffee. Great place to enjoy the natural mineral waters spa across the street too. Probably the only negative comment would be the early morning traffic noise from nearby St Aubyn St. Otherwise great.

Great location and plenty of space for 3 of us staying
Overall good stay but the tap water was not drinkable unless boiled. The water had a distinct earthy soil taste.

A great little cottage - ticks all the boxes!
Perfect position close to town but peaceful and cosy. Very clean and well provisioned. Excellent free wifi and useful items such as a dish washer, washing machine and clothes drier. Comfortable beds, good towels and linen. A lovely courtyard if the New Plymouth weather obliges and an undercover car port with immediate access to the cottage for those rainy days. The hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful and flexible. Excellent value - we are booking again for next year!

Homely little house & well set up
This place was ideal for my daughter & me. Plenty of amusement available. The beds & linen were excellent. But there was a very musty smell when entering, the range top was grubby as was the bathroom skirting & tiling around the shower. The truck noise was very bad at 2 am & again at 6am

Great place and hosts
Very tidy and well set out for families. There was everything you could need including a child’s table/plates and cups. Made for a very relaxing stay knowing the children were happy with toys and dvds and the place was kid proof. The dryer and under cover clothes line/car port was a bonus with the wet weather. The rooms look smaller than they actually are too. Great house, set up, and loved the chocolate while enjoying the massage chair.

Perfect for a small family getaway
Wonderful little house, warm and cosy with everything you need. Great location, easy to walk into town along the coastal walkway and the kids loved the park across the road. The chocolate and chips were a lovely treat - thank you!
