Amish Country weekend getaway

Long weekend getaway for 4 tired moms. The farm house is beautiful and very quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we did not get to look around as much as we wanted to.We did enjoy our stay. Note:There are other buildings on this property which are very close to the farm house. The proximity of the other buildings and rental unit was a surprise. Upon entering the drive we thought we may have the wrong place. (Another rental on the same property is noted in the description.)

Nice historic house

The house had plenty of room for everyone in our party (4 adults and one teen). The second living room with tv was nice so the teenager had their own space. The property grounds were beautiful with a large pond and fruit trees.

Beautiful, relaxing experience

We were needing some much needed downtime after weeks of remodeling our home. This place delivered and then some. It’s very quiet with lots of nature around. Sitting outside on the deck enjoying the wildlife was probably my favorite part of the trip. This property is literally in the middle of Amish country which was an another plus.

Holiday Getaway

We rented this property for a vacation with our family from all over. It was everything we hoped for and more! Secluded in the rolling hills of OH, the only thing missing was snow. We had plenty of space for all of us to relax and enjoy the winter weather, as well as the charm of the 200 year old farm house.

Great getaway!

Beautiful,roomy house located in the heart of Amish country, surrounded by fields, woods and rarely traveled road. We spent a peaceful weekend enjoying each other in this home with plenty of space to gather and to not feel crowded by each other. Rooms are huge and the house is just spectacular. Listing doesn't do it justice and leaves out that it has a dining table that fits 8 to 10 and it has a bbg grill. Bring your own charcoal, paper towels and sponges. Would stay here again!

Lovely property

This was a wonderful place to stay. It is in the middle of nowhere and very quiet and private. The grounds are fantastic and this old house has plenty of room to spread out in. Our large group of 10 had plenty of space. One of the best things about this rental was the abundance of towels and blankets. There were also plenty of hooks for hanging wet towels, jackets, shirts. etc. The beds were very comfortable and the king (bed) rooms were huge. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and the outside deck was a pleasant feature we all enjoyed. We loved everything about this place!

Peaceful country setting

We really enjoyed our stay at Winesburg Farm. The house was immaculate and spacious enough for two families. The upstairs gets a a little warm, but they do provide fans in each room. Loved the kitchen!

Great! Would stay again.

Wonderful relaxing location but short drive to anywhere in Holmes county. I would suggest considering a 6-10 seat dining table. There is ample room between the living room and kitchen. Thank you!

Loved everything about this property except hot water issue for showers. They came out and chked it out so custmer service is great but still had a few cold showers. Would totally book again!!

The house is amazing

The place is great. The house is spacious and very comfortable. The beds are huge as well. The only complaint I had is being that we are out pretty far from the city cell phone reception is non existent and the wifi at this place was hit or miss. Other than that this is a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful, Unique Property

I booked this home for a group of employees that were working on a project in the area. They loved it!!! Only trouble was, they wanted to enjoy the property vs. working :)
