The room was clean, but was disappointed the following day when i was told i had to take all the dirty towels downstairs to get clean ones, and couldnt get new trash can liners. Pool was cold, but we were greeted with friendly staff upon arrival. Brrakfast was decent, would stay here again when coming bavk to amish country.

The stay was fine but there was a very loud wedding party that was booked right by me. Bc of the system and me booking through hotels.com, the first worker couldn’t move me but the second worker I talked to did bc I asked for ear plugs. Hotels.com make it easier for accommodations!!!

Very Upset Over No Hot Tub
Very unhappy and disappointed. When looking on Hotels.com I selected that I wanted a hot tub in the amenities list choice, the only amenity that I Checked!! This was a getaway for my husband’s birthday and he enjoys hot tubs. Hampton Inn in New Philadelphia came up and the first picture that Hotels.com showed me was the Hot Tub at this establishment, supposedly.
When we went to use the hot tub at 8pm we were told NO Hot Tub! If it had not been late in the evening I would have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere that had a Hot Tub!
I used all my OneKeyCash that I had saved up for this reservation! I feel that I should be compensated some way for this false advertising through Hotels.com.

The place was nice and clean. Had the room right off the elevator, so it was noisy. Breakfast was horrible. Steam table soggy food. The reason I stayed there was because of breakfast. Maybe never again.

My family and I stay in the area quite often to visit family that live in the area. This hotel is very quiet and the staff are extremely friendly.

The interior of the hotel - esp. the first floor - was undergoing a major restoration. They had crews working day and night. It was noisy, dusty, and sometimes inconvenient. I came in one evening and there was no access to the elevator because they were re-tiling the floor. The food area (breakfast) was cleaned and decent looking on the last day, but awful before that. Don't plan on eating the breakfast. Room was OK, but you have to ask to get it cleaned or re-stocked. They charged a lot for a very mediocre offering. Noise was particularly bad at night - some from the neighboring area and some from work being done on the hotel.

The property is under construction. If I knew that I would not of booked it. I spend 200 for the night and can’t use the pool and can’t use main door have to come in side door. Very disappointed

Elevator Buzzing Drove Me Crazy
The hotel is currently under renovation (much needed) so it will be getting better, but one issue that's been for some time is the elevator. When you leave the elevator the doors don't close again and the buzzer starts buzzing after about a minute. My most recent stay had me right outside the elevator and that buzzing woke me up at midnight. I had to go out and send the elevator back down to the first floor to stop it. then I woke up at 1:00 am with the buzzer going again and had to send the elevator back to the first floor again to stop it. I slept terribly due to the issue of that elevator just buzzing. Someone should be able to fix that issue that's been happening since I started using that hotel over a year ago. I'll probably just start using the Holiday Inn down the street.

We are working with the TKE Elevator company to resolve the ongoing issue with the elevator noise. It stems from the door becoming jammed on the track and activating the sensor alert. We hope to have this issue fixed within the next month.

Thank you for your feedback. Since before we closed the pool, it had been marked as closed on Expedia's webpage, as well as our hotels webpage. Oftentimes when guests book third party, we do not get the contact information of guests and have no way of contacting them. It is up to the guests to ensure they review all of the hotel's information prior to booking.

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn a number of times over the years and have always been pleased with the rooms and especially the friendly and courteous staff. I'd planned to stay another night but needed to leave a day early due to weather and the long drive I had to make to return home, but will continue staying there for any further trips I have.

Old and expensive
The bathroom was very much outdated. The fan was as loud and squealing. The toilet lid wouldn’t remain up when needed. And the shower drain was slow. It was expensive for this condition. There are newer and lower cost options which I will use next time.

That's unfortunate to hear, but I understand your position. We were slated for renovation in March of 2020 but our construction team became unavailable due to the virus. We have finally begun our much needed renovations December 12th, expected to be completed in April. If you give us another chance to win you over with our Hamponality, we're sure you won't be disappointed.

Ok for a place to crash over night on your way to somewhere else. Disappointed that like so many other pet friendly hotels, this place isn’t forthcoming with their pet fee—$50 per night. I found out when we checked in.

Thank you for choosing our New Philadelphia Hampton Inn. Under our page's policies on Expedia, we clearly state there is a 50 pet fee. It is also listed under the Important Information section. If you were to go to our official Hilton webpage, it also states the 50 pet fee under Hotel policies. We apologize for any disappointment caused, but it is very clear on both websites.

Time for a facelift
Okay for one night, but not the same Hampton feel we are used to. Very overpriced and outdated. Generally clean except the shower. Fridge and AC are extremely noisy making it difficult to sleep, but seemed to function fine. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, and the juice machine was out of order
