Dear Mary, I'd like to thank you for sharing your experience with us regarding your recent stay here at La Quinta. I am sorry that the hotel did not meet expectations. This is not a standard here at our property. Our teams do strive daily to ensure that all of our guest receive a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our property is an older older hotel but, we are in the process of several upgrades. We have removed all of the carpeting out of the rooms and installed vinyl flooring, refurbished all of the bath tubs and replaced many of the televisions furniture ,refrigerators and microwaves. Our next step is to move to the out side of the property and work accordingly. I do apologize that you stay was not comfortable nor pleasant, I hope that in your future travels if you are in the area that you will give us another opportunity to serve you. We do have several other places to eat within walking distance. I'm not quite sure if your had asked anyone in our staff but, they would of gladly told you where they were located. Dear Angie, Thank you for sharing your experience with us regarding your recent visit with us. Maintenance was notified regarding the smoke detector and it has been replaced. I sorry that the hotel was not up to expectations as we would like for all of our guests to depart happy and satisfied. The fifty dollars is required as a deposit for damages and is refundable upon departure. We are in the process of upgrades to the outside and also the rooms here at the property.
