Family Fun Nola Style

Everything was absolutely as described and then location is definitely a lovely location…I only minor complaint I got back from the rest of the family was that the beds were extremely uncomfortable all except the master bedroom…but we will definitely do this location again…also there was not one need to contact anyone about any issues and everything was advised in the beginning…thanks so much Whitney!!!

Much needed time on the water

Property was very clean and nice, pictures don't do it justice. Whitney was great to deal with and fast to respond with any questions or concerns. I brought my fishing boat to the camp, while we were there the water was low (averaging right over a foot in the channel) and there is a building in the channel with a pole right under the surface that you can't see until you're on top of it so proceed slowly and cautiously. Definitely want to return in the future though, even with the hurricane like summer shower it was a great time.

Relaxing and Peaceful Place

We had such an amazing time at this home. We enjoyed seeing Gary the Gator and checking the crabpots. The entire visit was awesome!! Beds were comfortable and the house has a lot of space. We had a family of 8 and we were super comfortable and able to spread out.

Excellent!!

Had the best week with family as we celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival there was even a gift basket of treats and card wishing them a happy anniversary from Whitney. Check in was flawless as Whitney was on top of it and very easy to get ahold of if we had any questions or needed anything. The house was very clean and all the beds were comfortable. Wifi was spotty for us but we were really there to spend time together. The kids had a great time catching fish and crabs and we even had a small alligator hanging out nearby. :)

Excellent size for our family

We came to celebrate Christmas and go to the WW 2 museum as a family of 4 generations. Everything we needed was provided. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. We even caught some fish and a crab in the provided crab nets. We were about 40 minutes from downtown New Orleans and about 15 minutes from Slidell.l which is where we went for groceries. We enjoyed the corn hole game provided. Also, the outdoor space was so nice to be in. I highly recommend this rental to other families.

Christmas getaway

We really enjoyed our stay… the cold weather didn’t keep us away… we grilled steaks and oysters boiled seafood and baked a ham with all the sides…. Excellent vacation home… Whitney the host was very friendly and we loved our stay

New Orleans Family Christmas trip

The property was perfect for our family of 5 location was not to far from New Orleans. My family loved the games and fishing from the house. Home owner was very responsive and helpful with places to eat and recommendations on things to do around New Orleans Highly recommend the oak alley plantation and swamp boat tour.

Spacious house on a canal.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The place could accommodate many people more than our party of 4. It met most of our needs. Easy check in and out. The kitchen is spacious and there’s two patios - one below the house on the water and a screened in porch above. Check in was super easy. The front door lock mechanism is better than most to use.

Outstanding property, Great location, Fisherman Dream

The house was great. Plenty of space for the entire family, location was great for fishing and enjoying time with our family. The property is definitely one of our favorites. We will visit this property again. The house was one of the cleanest we have ever rented.
