Not like the pictures

I’m not sure when the pics were taken but the property doesn’t look like the pics. The main LR blinds were broken, the main DR table only had 3 chairs. We had booked based on the number of beds and the hot tub. It did have 6 full size beds which was nice but the hot tub was broken and we werent notified until after we arrived. The downstairs toilets rocks when you sit on it and that kitchen lacked any glasses, plates or utensils. Overall it was a disappointing stay as it looked nothing like the pictures. The one positive was the responsiveness of the host who respond promptly anytime we had an inquiry.

Location, Location. LOCATION

The location of the property in Mid-City is perfect. So close to the trolley! The inside was nice, especially the upstairs! Excellent kitchens on both floors and the laundry room was handy! Bring your own broom, dustpan, and mop. Overall, an excellent stay and the host was very attentive.

Nice Place To Stay

Recently stayed here and it really is a nice place to stay. Layout is a little getting use to. It’s actually 2 1/2 baths. Upstairs, the bedrooms are pretty much joined together with a door that separates them. One room has the full bath and other has 1/2 bath, so when you want to shower, you need to go through the other bedroom. Not a big deal for all of us, but it may be a privacy issue for some. Downstairs is pretty much the same. We had “0” issues with location and George was great with communication with me. Would definitely consider again using this place.

Mixed feelings…

The house was quirky, as expected from the reviews. It was nice having a gate that locked the cars in. It was very convenient to get on the Canal St. Streetcar. It was about three blocks. The back patio was nice to sit on. Communication with the host was an issue. I contacted the host on the first day to ask how to get the hot tub to heat up, but got no response. Also contacted him on the second day with no response. If something had been a serious issue, I guess we would have been out of luck. We did receive check out instructions though. :/

Very clean and private

This was a great place for a family of three couples. Uber close to multiple New Orleans attractions. Easy walking distance to the Canal St Trolley and grocery stores.

Family vacation

This property was perfect for our family. Great location for spending time in City Park and French Quarter. Also easy access to the street car. The property manager was very quick to respond to any of our questions before and during our stay.

Pre-Cruise Family Stay

Property had plenty of beds to accommodate 11 people. Only a short 0.3 mile walk to Canal Street Streetcar, which takes you to the French Quarter in about 20-25 minutes. A few nice restaurants and a Winn Dixie grocery store all within 10 minute walk. House does not have traditional lay out. Although there are common areas, they also double as bedrooms/beds. Actually only 3 bedrooms. You have to walk through two bedrooms to get to the kitchen and bathrooms, unless you walk outside. It is an older property, as many in New Orleans are, but it is obviously updated and the effort is certainly there. Cleaning crew showed up right at check out which tells me they are on top of things. Communication, check in and check out process, was excellent, this was 5 stars (one of the best I've encountered on VRBO).

Amazing spot for a quick vacay!

We had a blast at Georges property. The house was great for a bunch of friends getting together. The location was also super close to public transit and the house itself had so much charm. Would stay again.

The house we stayed in was ideally situated near all the amenities we sought, including excellent restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. The location was ideal, allowing us to explore the city and enjoy its vibrant culture easily. The house itself was well-maintained, with all the modern conveniences we needed to feel right at home. It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The entire experience was seamless, from booking to check-out. The communication with the owner was excellent, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, we highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a memorable vacation.

Great Location - Owner Exceptional

Property location was ideal for us. We had a couple minor hiccups when we arrived, but the owner was very responsive and went above and beyond to address our concerns. We would stay there again if we visit New Orleans.
