Welcome to one of the best spots to start your New Orleans adventure! Located in the eclectic Mid-City neighborhood, our property is just a short distance from the beautiful City Park. We`re nestled near iconic spots like the New Orleans Museum of Art and historic cemeteries, and just a quick ride to the French Quarter, Superdome, and downtown NOLA. There`s also a streetcar stop nearby for easy access to other parts of the city!

Step inside our comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located in the vibrant Mid-City neighborhood. Blending classic NOLA charm with comfortable design, the space features everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

Guests love our unbeatable location! Located in the heart of Mid-City, you’ll be steps away from an amazing local dining scene, dive bars, coffee shops, and the best the Crescent City has to offer. It`s a fantastic, slightly quieter alternative to the French Quarter while still offering quick access to the rest of the city via the nearby Canal Streetcar line—a perfect way to get around the city without worrying about bringing a vehicle and parking!

With thoughtful amenities and an unbeatable location right next to City Park, this is the perfect home base for exploring The Big Easy!

Our home features three thoughtfully furnished bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

The primary suite offers a comfortable King bed with an ensuite full bathroom for added privacy. This bathroom has a tub + shower combo.

The second and third bedrooms each feature a cozy Full sized bed. In these two rooms, the beds are arranged so that one side is up against the wall, which makes them better suited for just one person (see photos for more details).

The main full bathroom has a shower + tub for your use.

The home also has a full kitchen with a washer/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTES BEFORE BOOKING:
This apartment sits on the ground level underneath a single-family home. As such, you will be able to hear the owners (who live upstairs) moving around their space, and may hear the baby from time to time. We enforce quiet hours from 9PM to 7AM and have noise sensors in the unit to monitor for excessive volume. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES will be tolerated, and any violations will result in termination of your reservation without a refund.

***The ceilings in this unit are lower than in a typical home - think of it more like a basement apartment (though it’s not underground) - see photos for more detail. ***

There is no dedicated parking for this reservation. Free street parking is typically available along the surrounding streets. Please be sure to follow all posted parking and traffic signs, and do not block driveways or fire hydrants, as vehicles may be ticketed or towed by the city.

There is no smoking or vaping on the property whatsoever. This includes inside the home and the shared outdoor alleyway/walkway. Violations will result in a $500 cleaning fee and termination of your reservation without a refund. We’re VERY SERIOUS about this.

We unfortunately cannot offer luggage storage before or after your stay due to space limitations, but we recommend using Bounce, a luggage storage service, for any needs you may have. There are a handful of locations around the city, and pricing and hours vary by location.

The nearest streetcar stop is at N. Carrollton & Orleans; about a 5 minute walk. Using the streetcars makes it easy to explore the French Quarter, CBD, and beyond without a car.

Download the Jazzy App: New Orleans’ public transit is easy to use with the Le Pass app (the official RTA/Jazzy app). Download it to buy digital passes for streetcars and buses right on your phone. Choose a 1-day or multi-day Jazzy Pass for unlimited rides. When boarding, simply activate your pass and show it to the driver or conductor. Streetcars are a fun, affordable way to explore the city.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES or SMOKING/VAPING ONSITE. We’re VERY serious about this. Violations will result in fines and/or eviction from the property without a refund. Our property is not baby-proofed, so please use discretion when traveling with smaller children.

Again, there is NO DEDICATED PARKING available at the property. Free street parking is typically available, but we assume no responsibility for any damages/theft that may occur if you choose to bring a vehicle.

New Orleans is prone to hurricanes and other storms, sometimes outside of the normal season. Please note that we do not move, cancel, or provide refunds or credits for any reason, including COVID, road conditions/closures, travel cancellations, and weather conditions. If you think you may need to cancel for any reason, we HIGHLY SUGGEST that you purchase trip insurance or book closer to your travel dates.
Please carefully read our house rules below

1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their airbnb profile.

2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We enforce quiet hours from 9PM to 7AM.

3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.

4.Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed on your reservation will receive 1 set of towels for their stay (bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth, makeup towel). We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. There is a washer/dryer available in the unit should you need to refresh your towels during your stay.

5. Smoking & vaping in the unit or building or on the rooftop terrace/pool area will result in a $500 cleaning fee and termination of your reservation without refund.

6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, all OTA platforms have specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in an immediate eviction from the property.

7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.

8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. We provide makeup removal towels for this purpose.

9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.

10. There are no pets allowed at this property. A $250 fine will be charged for any evidence of pets.

11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo”. It will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.

12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.

13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space, we can assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.

14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.

15. Message us for long term stays.

16. Trash is picked up weekly on Mondays. You can take any extra trash out to the bin if needed.

17. Our TV`s are streaming (no cable/satellite), and we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out.

18. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it`s possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge for the additional booking time. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved.

19. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item.
