Hi Orly - Thanks so much for your feedback; I'm so glad to hear you at least felt our property was unique and charming! We do have king beds in our carriage house rooms, which does take up a bit more space. Our "contactless" is more-so referencing your easy check in process. We are not a full service hotel, and do not service our rooms daily. We would have been happy to schedule an additional housekeeping service for you had you reached out at the time. Our HVAC contractor was able to check the heating and cooling issue you had and the issue is resolved. I do hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise!

Hi Joe. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your room - that bathroom was recently renovated and is wonderful! We’ve heard several guests rave about that mattress too so glad it was comfortable for you. We are so sorry to hear about the hot tub. We have a pool company that services it every week and we will definitely have them check the chemical levels and operation - we haven’t had this complaint before. As for the breakfast, we have clearly stated on our site and all partner sites, as well as in the confirmation email and welcome email, that we aren’t currently serving a community breakfast. We stopped serving breakfast as guests do not want to all gather in the same dining area with other guests for breakfast due to covid. Hopefully we can get back to serving it again soon. To address the cat in the courtyard - he is a stray that has taken up home in the courtyard - so yes, you can call him our courtyard cat. He gets fed 4-5 times a week, but he does gobble it up as soon as it gets put down. He gets flea medication and we do our best to keep him healthy. As animal lovers (we have three rescues of our own and volunteer at local animal shelters), we wish you would have asked us before jumping to assumptions about the care of the stray cat. In the future, please email, call or text if you have questions or concerns during your stay. We would have been happy to address the hot tub and the cat with you. We hate that you never called us and took straight to a bad review. As a small business, we pride ourselves in customer service and great reviews. We’ve also noticed that you leave 1 star reviews for pretty much every single review you’ve made so I guess we should be glad to get 2.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Unfortunately, due to city Covid restrictions, we are not allowed to have the hot tub operational at this time. Hopefully next time you come, we will be able to have it open again.

Our breakfasts seem to be one of the most popular features for our guests - and the family style sittings are great for sharing information about what's happening in New Orleans All of our rooms are different, and one does have a small bathroom - the main house was built before indoor plumbing came to this neighborhood so creating bathrooms was a bit of a challenge. Potential guests can always call us before making a reservation for advice on room choice - or anything else they might want to know
