Set on over three private acres in the Shenandoah Valley, this cabin offers a balance of seclusion and comfort, just a short drive from Washington, D.C. Inside, thoughtful details create a welcoming atmosphere - from the Chesterfield sofa in the living room to shelves lined with books, puzzles, and a curated vinyl record collection. There’s no television, inviting you to unwind in other ways, whether that’s music, conversation, or a quiet evening.
Central air conditioning and heating keep the space comfortable through shifting temperatures. A washer and dryer are available for longer stays, along with clothing storage and everyday essentials.

Outdoor living
Two porches extend your living space into the surrounding forest, including a large screened-in porch with areas for dining and lounging. The BBQ grill is ready for outdoor cooking. The setting is natural and peaceful, with wildlife often passing through.
Free parking is available on the premises.
Connectivity & comfort
Wifi is available throughout the cabin, making it possible to stay connected or work remotely if needed. Board games, a turntable, and a selection of records offer simple ways to spend time indoors.
The area
Located near New Market, you’ll be within easy driving distance of Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, and a variety of local attractions including vineyards, farmers markets, and historic sites. A guide to nearby spots and experiences is shared prior to your stay to help you explore at your own pace.
A mile-long gravel road leads to the cabin, adding to the sense of seclusion. Wildlife, seasonal pollen, and changing outdoor conditions are part of the natural setting, and water is supplied by a well, so pressure may vary.
Pet Policy
We’re happy to welcome dogs to join you on your getaway! Please note that due to allergies, we’re unable to accommodate cats. A $29 pet fee applies per furry friend, per night to help cover additional cleaning and care. Thanks for understanding—we look forward to hosting you and your pup!
Longer Stays
For stays of 14 nights or longer, guests will be asked to e-sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. This agreement helps us comply with local requirements while protecting the property, and will be sent in advance for review.
Other things to note:.
Any vehicle will be able to get up the mile-long gravel mountain road, but take extra care with cars that are very low to the ground. Please note that the speed limit in our community is 15 mph, as the road is narrow at times.
If snow is predicted, 4WD is recommended. The road may not be plowed unless there is heavy (4"+) snow
We get our share of wildlife and other woodland creatures on property — this is very much a cabin, and modern-rustic is the vibe.
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
We are on a well, so water pressure will fluctuate.
There's no television, but you won't miss it.
There *is* central A/C and heat, a supply of firewood, and a feeling of seclusion from neighboring cabins.
It’s the best of all worlds: an amazing Shenandoah Valley location, the feeling that you're getting away completely, and an aesthetic you'll want to take home with you.

Nice comfy cabin in a quiet location & close to lots to do. I had a little trouble finding the address/driveway because of the leaf cover but the property mgr was very responsive. Enjoyed my stay!

I have only one strong complaint, this cabin is not for anyone riding a motorcycle, unless you're on an Enduro bike or an adventure bike and want to do a bit of off-road riding. There is a one lane gravel road leading up to the cabin. The gravel road is steep with a substantial curve (not good) and its one lane, so if a car or pick-up are coming head on and don't grant you the right of way you have no alternative but to go into a ditch. The ground is uneven at the cabin parking area, its a big challenge just to put it on the side stand so it doesn’t tip over one way or the other. Again, understand if you have never ridden on loose gravel its like riding on marbles, your bike will do its own thing, not necessarily what you want it to do.
The cabin itself was great, no TV, the screened in porch is a bit more dusty and has a good amount of spider web's, more than we liked. Other than that, we liked the cabin itself.
