"Wonderful location, right on the lake which was amazing. The lake was frozen solid and could watch folks driving across the lake and ice fishing right from the living room. Plenty of room, house was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and hang out. The hot tub was a must for our daughter who was celebrating her birthday and that did not disappoint. Not a lot close by but we did all our shopping on the way in so not an issue for us. Great Stay and would definitely stay again!"

Any questions during our stay were very promptly answered.This nicely updated vintage home had tons of character, good mattresses and clean, nice quality, betting and towels. The kitchen was well equipped, which was really important to us. Appreciated the modern clawfoot tub. this is a vintage home with quirky corners and nice woodwork, convenient laundry in typically scary basement ;-) … would rent again and recommend it for its easy proximity to Lawrence...

"The home was advertised to sleep 7 and we had 7 people. Everyone was comfortable but there were not enough coffee cups and untensils, and the kitchen was low on supplies. The owner was excellent at communicating and provided us with an iron as requested. Overall it worked well for sleeping 7 people and the location was convenient for our time in Appleton. "
