Though booked through a travel site o was charged almost the same amount twice upon arrival . Thinking it was just for a deposit i later called with no return calls on explanations if the charge

Close to the venue of my meeting the next day

The room was very dated although they said they were renovating the internet was spotty there were very few stations on the TV that were "authorized" the sink in the bathroom was a pedestal - no room for any toiletries at all the shower was so small - zero space to move around I had to ask for a hair dryer there was a giant parrot flying around in the lobby as i walked in I would not stay there again nor would i recommend to anyone.

One Gets What One Pays

The clerk was helpful and cordial. I was charged more than what Expedia quoted me for the one night stay. At 11:00 PM after hours of traveling and quibbling about the room cost difference, I yielded and made a mental note to relay this discrepancy to Expedia. There it is. The bathroom had two towels for showering that were extremely worn. There were no hangers in the small closet. Sidewalks leading to the room were not sanded over the ice. A true safety concern. Parking was adequate.

I did not stay

I did not stay at Americas Best Value in, Wolcott, CT. The hotel was rundown and in an unsuitable area. I did not feel safe or comfortable with the surroundings. The hotel and room was run down. The room smelled old and mpldy. It seemed more like a motel you could rent by the hour. I would not recommed this hotel to anyone. If my card has been charged, I request a refund immediately. Thank you.

Disgusting

Had jacuzzi room it was by far the most disgusting room ive seen. Sheets were old and jacuzzi was filthy.

Filthy hotel

It is a dirty hotel! Holes in the sheets, cigarette burns on the head board, wax on the remote controller and don’t ask me what that was about!? The paint in my room looked like a accident and the room service lady kept waking me up on the first day after I told her I had another day and didn’t want service. I do not recommend this place to anyone! Btw I put pictures in my comments and if you’re wondering I used my jacket as a pillow case! Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Just a place to sleep

We made reservation for 4 nights. We had a specious room in a very lousy condition: stained carpets and couch, sticky cabinets, crooked curtains and the alarm device made squeaky sound. The stuff person (the only one there) changed the battery. Next day when we returned in the evening the room was not cleaned! and the stuff person brought us towels. On our last night, at 2 am the alarm device again made the squeaky sound. We had to call the stuff person. He gave us another room and we tried to sleep. It made our driving back home very difficult, since we barely slept that night. We never had such a bad experience!

Very Basic Motel, OK for a one-nighter

I believe the bathroom had just been renovated and had a toxic smell from the paint and not ceramic tiles - it was dark and narrow with no shelving to put your tooth brush/paste, glasses, etc on.Maybe they were not finished with it yet. No hair dryer. The room had an odd combination of furniture and placement as well. There was however a mini fridge and microwave. the wi-fi was almost non-existent. 2 double beds, the room cost $68. Not complaining, just say'n.

Screens shredded, no tissues, no alarm clock, no iron, cramped bathroom, shabby furniture, roach walking up the wall, worn-looking sheets, busted remote.
