"It wasnt clean. My room was wet. The entire carpet soaked. It was so damp fhe beds were wet. It smelled of obvious long term mold issues. Dead bugs in the bathroom and shower. My door was so hard to open i had to have someone from the desk open it for me everytime i wanted in and they told me i just had to lift up while pushing in hard and swipe the card at the same time. I could never make it work. The soma. At the desk was rude and unhelpful. I wouldnt let my pet stay there "

"One of the best stays my husband and I have experienced in our entire lives. The property is beautiful, filled with life and history. It's incredibly cozy and comfortable, we both slept well. "I stayed at the New London Inn for two nights while my daughter was on a college visit. I had a wonderful visit at the Inn. The service was fantastic. I had a very late check in planned for after the staff was gone for the evening (11:30 pm). General manager happened to have stayed late and saw me in the parking lot. "The Lake Estate was nothing short of amazing. Arron and Arista at the front desk were extremely welcoming, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. Never once did we walk by the lobby without them saying hello or offering anything to make the stay better and taking photos for us. Told us all about the resort. Cannot say enough things about Jackie at the spa. She’s the best! For a private hotel opening so recently of that size… it was well worth it and we will be going back...
