Sam was an excellent host! We loved the space and it fit us all so well. Would highly recommend staying here with your friends or family. The house had everything we were looking for!

Retirement Weekend

We had a long weekend to celebrate family members that recently retired. It was awesome for everyone to have their own space, and we could cook and play games and be connected. The place is beautiful.

We had a great time at Timber Cove. Beautiful and spacious home provided everything we needed to celebrate my brother. Great communication with Sam throughout the process, we would gladly stay again.

Fantastic House

We had the best experience with this property and the owners. It was clean, spacious and had every single thing we needed for our stay. The property manager was very quick to respond to messages. I can’t wait to book again!

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a great stay over Thanksgiving with extended family - there was room for everyone to have privacy and also plenty of space for gathering together in the large common areas. The house was well furnished (including ample baby gear for the infant in our group) and we made use of the kayaks and fire pit despite the cold weather! Highly recommend this property for a large group looking for a getaway.

Awesome house

Owners of this house are amazing, they were very quick in answering any question we had and allowed us to stay a little longer at check out. House is very clean and near a beautiful pond. Hiking places nearby were very beautiful as well. Very happy with our stay. Thank you!

Great stay at Timber Cove

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Timber Cove. It snowed almost a foot and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to be snowed in. The kids kept busy playing in the basement and sledding out back. The rooms were all very large and we were easily able to accommodate four families. We’d definitely stay again!

Kids and adults give it five stars!

A beautiful home that gave three families plenty of space and lots to do. Loved the big table where we could eat together, and the screened-in porch. Kids could take over the basement and watch their own movies and play games. We visited in the summer and enjoyed the canoe and kayaks, but it would be equally lovely all year round!

Great place for families

They had a lot of baby stuff for us to use which was a huge help. The layout and size of the house was ideal for our family. It was a nice quiet area and the water in the pond was surprisingly clear and refreshing. We went kayaking and swimming a few times.

The inside of the house was ideal for our family vacation. We were disappointed to learn swimming would require us to go to a different location. Turned out not to be an issue due to the unseasonably cool and wet weather which of course no one controls. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Beautiful screened porch and deck facing a private cove. Water level was lower than normal, but we all enjoyed the canoe and kayaks from the dock. Dramatic interior with adult space, and excellent kid space downstairs. Well equipped kitchen, trestle table easily accommodated our 8. Lovely, peaceful home. We’d love to visit again!We drove from NY on a Sunday, stayed until Saturday, which worked well with vacation traffic heading to and from NH and Maine.*** Just an additional note, as much as we would have liked to recycle, it would require separating and taking trash to a transfer station. All trash goes into the small dumpster near the road, which was convenient.

Get together for the nana.

The cleaning staff was running a little behind but the owners jumped into action and corrected the problem immediately. This vacation was one for the family scrapbook. We all needed to get back to having some quality time together after my wife, the mother and nana of 46 years passed. Beautiful home and well set up. My hat is off to the owners. Thanks guys. Wonderful stay in an amazing house

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway with some friends, all of us had infants and/or toddlers. The house was spacious and clean and comfortably accommodated all 6 adults and 4 kids throughout the entire time. We were also impressed by how well stocked the house was for the little ones, complete with multiple portable cribs, high chair, kid's utensils and eateries, as well as toys, books, play mats and event kiddo-sized lawn chairs for the beautiful porch outside! We enjoyed sunny afternoons on the porch, kayaking on the lake behind the house, and evenings outside by the firepit. Slightly further away from the main parts of town but we loved every minute spent here. Highly recommend.

Great amenities and location!

A group of friends and I stayed here for a long-weekend get together (all adults, but this property would be amazing for families too). We really enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised by the “extra” amenities such as kayaks, foosball, floats and toys, fishing gear, wagon, and even a spare cooler! We also really enjoyed the bonus spaces of the garage, screened-in porch, basement, and large deck space. The location felt secluded (we couldn’t see or hear other houses from the house), but the beach is just a short walk away! The only issue we ran into was with the cleanliness of the Grill, but once I brought it to the attention of the team, they committed to checking it more frequently. Overall, we loved our stay and can’t wait to book with Evolve again (they respond super fast!)

Timber Cove Review

Great location. Condition of house was fair. Suggest the following needs attention: Ants were a problem in the kitchen, front door binds and is hard to close, one bedroom lacks AC (it needs it badly). Garage floor was very dirty with sand and rocks. Could not walk barefoot. Previous users did not do a very good job cleaning before they left. Good features include plenty of space, having a canoe, 2 kayaks with paddles and life vests was a big plus. Great screened in porch. Plenty of space to park. Owner communicated well with us. Bunk beds were very convenient.

FANTASTIC stay! Phenomenal Owner!

The owner is FANTABULOUS! From the very beginning he stayed in touch. Check in was FLAWLESS! Communication was FLAWLESS! He checked in with us during the stay to ask if we needed anything which was moot because this house has every amenity you could ask for! My younger Grandkids came and there were even things for them to do! (games, books, etc.) Owner shared his kayaks, canoes, even his fishing poles with us if wanted! We went to Gunstock Mountain for Mountain Coasters and activities which was a very reasonable travel distance. Great Grocery store within 10 min drive! I messaged owner with a few questions about recommendations and he answered extremely fast! We aren't from around this area and he answered our questions so we were able to make good decisions on where to go! All I can say is VERY positive things! Owner was outstanding! House is gorgeous and accommodating for 12 people! Five plus star rating!

Plenty of space and activities from fishing to boating. Located on a quite private lot, fully equipped kitchen, large back deck and screened in porch. We were able to accommodate 9 adults very comfortably. Nothing but good things to say!

Amazing getaway

Timber Cove was an amazing getaway. Absolutely clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. House is spacious and well equipped for a larger group of people with kids. Kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. Plenty of glasses, utensils and tableware. Top notch appliances. Plenty of towels (beach ones provided as well). Shampoos and soaps were stocked. Did Not need to bring anything extra. Plenty of parking. Few minutes walk to the beach. Very friendly neighborhood. Hammock, canoe (life jackets were available) and deck sitting area were perfect additions. Host would check in and assisted right away with anything we needed.
