This was a very lovely place. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a very pleasant family getaway. Very clean.

We were looking for a quite place to relax and unwind for a long weekend and this place was perfect. We sat out by the river and just enjoyed it all. The only that l could suggest is adding some handrails for the outside stairs, for us older people. We will coming back for more peace. Thank you, James & Sandy

The River House was great it had everything you would need for the kitchen, plenty of towels, plenty of room. What a beautiful back porch with a great view of the river. I would recommend this house for young strong and healthy people due to the only reason that will prevent me from returning to this lovely house. This house has very steep steps in the front and back and no safety rails to assist you (except for one place about 4-5 feet where the steps are level). Not a place for any one with difficulty walking up and down steep stairs.

Nice property right on the river, felt very secluded even though there are other properties nearby. Great place to relax and unwind. Kitchen was lacking some basic utensils for cooking and cookware is a haphazard assortment. Recommend bringing your own if you plan to cook. There also were no kitchen towels and we were told by the property management hotline that is not something they provide.

Hello the stay we just completed had air conditioning and wifi issues as well as swarms of flies. There was no wifi or television/Internet able to connect. We had spotty cell service. The air-conditioning in the living room was basically non existent. We messaged gost immediately when we got there and they couldn't fix wifi and didn't say anything about the a)c. Most of the pots and pans were filthy and the outside grill was also dirty and lacked propane. The house was under construction...

Kitchen window had cobwebs and dead water bugs. Second bedroom needs to have a closet and dresser. Outdoors wasn't clean. House keeping needs to make sure they leave enough bath towels and kitchen towels. All in all it's a home

My mother and ai stayed a night. House was nice and easy walk down to the water. Great location. Needs a little work. No toilet paper holder in the 2nd bath. Kitchen could use more pans, Larger frying pan. Im just used to basic items being provided. sugar, salt, pepper, coffee. If they could put up a privacy shade on the back porch on the east side, it would definitely help not seeing the woman who lives there all day long looking over. It was only a night so no big deal, I would definitely stay again!

Phenomenal, quiet getaway!

This property is exactly what we expected. The pictures we're very accurate, the water was slow-moving and clean, and there's an underwater limestone ledge for shallow sitting just before a nice, deep plunge into the brisk Guadalupe. Perfect angle for sunset viewing, too!

Week end of the flood 7/25

Evaluated at 10 am on July 5 because of Guadalupe flooding. I didn't see much of the property due to rain and flooding. Don't know if I will get my money back for cutting my stay short due to evaluation

We had a wonderful time!!!! People watching on the river, tub floating off our deck area under beautiful pecan trees!! We did bring our essentials; Skibo cards, ninja grill and crockpot. Very comfortable home in a great location!! Good times with great friends

Waterfront and wonderful

Location was great! Beautiful views overlooking the river. Birds, squirrels and deer. So relaxing. The home has everything you need to make your stay easy. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms had ceiling fans. Kitchen is nicely

Great house on the river!

Love this house right on the Guadalupe River! We have stayed here many times. Recently they upgraded the floors and the bathrooms and it is a huge improvement, especially the bathrooms. Great showers and toilets now, and a big reason we will come back. We actually stayed somewhere else last visit b/c this place was a little run down, and they have fixed all that. Need a new fridge or to fix the water/ice maker, but otherwise this place is now in great shape. Fantastic access to the river and great fishing right at your back door. Check out the drive in theater in New Braunfels and go shopping in Greune. We love this trip every year and this a great place to stay.
