  • Interested in tubing or just kicking back for a restful vacation as you listen to the sounds of the river below the beautiful deck? If so, this home is perfect for you. It is located on River Road near New Braunfels, Texas and sits on 100 feet of Guadalupe River frontage directly at the natural limestone 'Chute' on the river between 2nd and 3rd River crossings. You will have DIRECT RIVER ACCESS so it is perfect for playing or just relaxing as you watch others float in the river below. The deck is RIGHT over the water!

    The new Disposable Container Law in New Braunfels does not apply to our section of the Guadalupe River. Ban applies to the Guadalupe River within the City Limits of New Braunfels.

Great Location!

We had a great trip! The location is great, right on the chute. Great place to set up and stay in the river all day. The outside had some trash and the grill was filthy. I blame that on previous owners, neighboring campsite, and wind. Overall I recommend. We have to keep the river and rentals clean.

River trip

Location was amazing!! The neighbors were horrible!!! They didn’t follow the rules of the loud music after dark. Couldn’t enjoy the evening. No washer at this location but was listed as available.

Labor Day

The house was great and everything work properly, but it could of been cleaner and didn’t have a washer. There was no WiFi all weekend so that was a bummer and was never fixed by the property manager. We enjoyed it though.

Enjoyable but disappointing

We enjoyed our stay but was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the property. The walls and floors were VERY dirty. I don’t think they’ve been mopped or wiped down in months. There was trash(Confetti, paper, empty cans, etc) between the wall and bunk beds and trash in the fold out couch in the living area. The yard has not been maintained in quite some time. It was mowed but hasn’t seen a weed eater, edger or trimmers in awhile. The water front wasn’t appealing because there was just no care to the property. There was lots of trash on the ground on the side of the house. The listing stated there was a washer and dryer. There was no washer at all. The WIFI is non existent. The tv doesn’t work at all. Needless to say, we left a day early. The only positive that I have is the location was ok. All in all, would I rent this property again. No! Very misleading.

Great Location

The location of the property was one of my favorites, I've stayed at so far in my 10 years of coming to the river. The house needs a good cleaning and an inside paint job to make home more homey. It would be nice if you didn't have to bring your own linens. This was the first time they haven't been provided. for us. The kitchen was slimly stocked with dishes. We had to buy a few things that we needed. Also, I thought listing said there was a washer and dryer. There's only a dryer in the house. We had a great time and only a short drive to Lonestar Float House to rent tubes.
