Wonderful place to stay. The backyard and river access was so wonderful. Inside is everything you need but you visit this part of Texas to be outside!

Great Location & Well Equipped

Convenient to multiple eating areas & river launch areas. Very well equipped with tons of towels, kitchen is well stocked, bedding etc. great weekend get away for two adults a 3 young adult children.

Overall a great experience. The river access was great and easy to use. The patio area was really nice, and the outdoor showers were a bonus.

Tge place was perfect for our stay and very comfortable. Tge property very much needs a mow and they should invest in a better coffee pot but would stay there again! The location and access to the river were perfect. Thank you

Peaceful getaway

My family and I stayed for 5 nights at this cute place. It was nice and quiet. The river was a quick trip down the stairs. The river there was on the swallow side, which was perfect for me and my daughter since we just like to sit along the rocks. We definitely recommend this place!!!

Great Spot on the river

Property had everything we needed. Beds / Couches comfortable. Appliances and silverware for cooking and grilling. River had shallow spots to put chairs in and deep enough spots to get fully into river. Backyard was great. Highlight was the outdoor shower for sure.

The 5 star rating is for the accommodations only. It was good! The area though is crap. Nothing but loudmouth drunks. A live band last night, three houses down had the walls vibrating till 12:30 am.

Overall Great Stay

Very nice house in a great location. Little Ponderosa Tubes is at the entrance they let you float to your house and come pick up tubes then you get your vehicle or can float to them. It was very convenient. The house was simple yet very nice and accommodating. Back yard was also very nice and a great hangout spot when not on the river. The only negative of our trip was the grass was overgrown and really needed to be mowed. Just was an annoyance to have to walk through shin high grass to get to the river.

Much needed family getaway!

This was the perfect location and home for our much needed family getaway! I brought my adult children and family to celebrate graduations and birthdays. As soon as we arrived, we all knew this was exactly what we needed. The home was super cute, clean and well maintained, but it was the access to the river that was perfect. Easy on my knees, not hundreds of steps like so many others, and the people we met down at the river were so fun! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

Rio vista

We loved the place and the property! Our only complaints were getting in late due to the cleaning crew not finishing until close to 5 when check in was at 4 and the summit across the river is not good for trying to get away to a nice quiet stretch of the river. We won't be staying here again due to that reason alone. If it weren't for the summit being across we'd stay here again for sure.

Great hill country retreat

Wonderful experience. House was perfect, exactly as described. Had everything we needed and close to a local grocery store. Loved our 4 days there. Would definitely rent again.

We'll be back!

Loved the house. Modern home details, airy, bright rooms, and proximity to the river were all right up our alley. It felt private, but if you were outside, you could hear neighbors (but that's not a deal breaker). We're planning to come back for the summer with our kids to tube the river. Thanks for providing a tea kettle - that doesn't always come with vacation rentals. Our only wish was that they had a Keurig or something similar for coffee like we see at other rentals :)
