Place was just as described….this is a very unique and private space….literally looks like they took a silo and converted into a room.
The inside was phenomenal. A small kitchenette has a microwave, sink, silverware, and cups. I didn’t see any plates…but this is definitely enough to warm up food and drink for a quick bite…if needed.
The bathroom is huge…has two sinks and a large, stone shower with great water pressure….the shower feels luxurious! There was plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo.
The living room is small, but has a sofa and two club chairs, along with a TV. Enough to relax a bit.
The bedroom is an open loft space upstairs. It looks over the living room…but still feels private. The bed was comfortable and the space felt large, being a loft.
The skylight was a nice surprise.
I will give a bit of a warning….the stairs leading to the loft feel just a bit precarious….I’m fit and not elderly…and I felt like I had to be careful, especially going down. Elderly and physically limited folks might have some challenges with the stairs.
The location is great….about a mile from everything in the historic district of Gruene, even closer to other restaurants and shops. I walked everywhere.
Overall this is a great space for one or a couple….do it!
