We truly enjoyed our stay at the Gruene Agave Bungalow. The location felt safe, secluded, and wonderfully peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of our favorite moments was spending an evening by the fire pit.The bungalow itself feels new, very well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The mattresses and pillows were top notch—some of the most comfortable we’ve experienced in a rental. Everything was spotless without that overpowering bleach smell, which we really appreciated, and it was refreshing not to have fragrance plug-ins throughout the space.It’s clear the owner has thought of every detail to make guests feel comfortable. What a pleasure it was to stay here. We will absolutely book again the next time we’re in town and highly recommend this property.

Wedding Weekend

The bungalows were perfect for our needs! They are absolutely beautiful and provide you with anything you may need. Host is very responsive and we had no trouble with communication with them. Our daughter was getting married next door and it was just the perfect place for the entire weekend! We loved it!

Quick girls birthday getaway

We had a great girls birthday getaway in Gruene with my mom, sister and niece. This little house was perfect for our needs and was super clean. The host was very responsive and the location was perfect for us! I would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Lovely stay near Greune

We rented both bungalows (one bedroom with 2 Queens and one bath each - king sleeper sofa in each) for a family weekend. They are both amazing with plenty of space and a great kitchen area (no dishwasher though but not needed). Check in and out was easy and the mgmt checked in with us to make sure all was going well. Felt removed from the city on a quiet piece of property. Everything was amazing and we will definitely want to stay again next time we visit the Greune/New Braunfels area!

Cutest bungalow!!

Such a cute place to stay, has everything you need! Can easily sleep 6, beds are super comfy. In a really nice area and close to downtown gruene. We attended a wedding at the Chandelier and it’s just down the street, less than a mile away! Great location. Would definitely stay again if we come back to gruene!!

Review

We stayed at the Gruene Agave Bungalow for a girls weekend getaway. The location felt very remote and peaceful, and it was still very conveniently located to Gruene (8 min away). The house felt new and was beautifully designed and decorated. All the beds (even the pull out couch) were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. The front patio was also relaxing and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with minimal cooking essentials like plates, bowls, silverware, cups, mugs, cutting board, and pots and pans (but no mixing bowls or dishwasher), but had everything we needed for the weekend. There is another house right next to this one which was empty the weekend we went, but could have felt less quiet/peaceful if it had also been full. The owners were easy to work with and check out instructions were minimal. Overall above my expectations!

Repeat stay

Clean, neat, convenient, modern, ample supplies, quiet and private, stylish. We are a family of 3 including a grown daughter. We were attending a local wedding at a chapel on Rte 306. We had stayed in the other side by side unit before and like it.

Super cute place!

They have done an awesome job with this spot! Conveniently located. Fairly easy to find, and still very private and quiet. Clean and well decorated. Our only small complaints were no mugs for our morning coffee, and the fan making a clicking noise at night. Otherwise it was probably the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in!

Professionals!!

We loved our stay and enjoyed it very much! By far the best VRBO experience we’ve had. I could tell the care that went into this place and the managers are professionals at this. The space was great and the little touches they provided like K cups and one thing of laundry detergent was so nice. We will be back.
