We took in the new year with family. It was great walking into front door having a gift from host. The layout was great for all of us and the outdoor experience was great. We had access to river for early morning fishing and peaceful cup of coffee. The great outdoor area was great to help celebrate and take in the new year. The property was spacious, clean, everything we needed and more to celebrate new years.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful riverfront property! The location was peaceful and scenic — waking up to the sound of the water and relaxing by the river in the evenings was just perfect. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area was the highlight — perfect for morning coffee, grilling, and enjoying nature. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a calm and refreshing stay by the water!

We enjoyed our stay and the location on the river was ideal. Checkin and check out process was super easy but the property had a few disappointing issues like a tree blocking easy access to the river and broken outdoor furniture and a broken dishwasher bottom rack. The living room furniture needs updating and the space is not big enough for the size of the sleeping accommodations of this house.

Beautiful place on the river

This property is beautiful on a large river front lot! Communication w rental company was very efficient and fast. Plenty of room for our large deck. The only negative is the place really does need more restrooms w showers. The owners did recently build an outside casita which is essentially a large bathroom that is nice. House comes equipped with everything.

Good location but too many issues

While the location and purpose of the property were perfect, several things could have made the stay better. 1. The fridge broke, and we only had one fridge, forcing us to buy ice and ice chests for everything that didn't fit into one fridge. 2. Hot water didn't work throughout the house 3. The furniture is old, outdated, and uncomfortable 4. Beds are weak and uncomfortable 5. Pans in the kitchen are old, burned, unusable 6. Because the house is on a septic tank, the use of the garbage disposal and flushing paper down the toilets can't be done. Forcing us to use more bags for toilet areas and food disposal. 7. The blinds throughout the house are not all usable, and you have to be careful not to break them as some don't turn. 8. There are strict regulations on the A/C temperature, and changing it to a more comfortable setting 9. Parking is great; however, in the middle of the driveway, walking out of the fence, there is a big gap in the concrete that a few people tripped over, and it appears to be made intentionally that way. There are no signs or warnings, and one of the small children on our trip got his foot stuck with his shoes on. Management did respond quickly; however, no attempt was made to return money or offer additional help due to the fridge issue.

Sisterhood alumni retreat weekend

Outside property has a “resort” feel. The inside is nicely laid out. There many maintenance issues that need to be addressed so the inside matches the outside. I would rebook in the future, but would hope painting and water damage signs are repaired.

Perfect Group River Trip

Beautiful property

The property and location were fantastic. The kayaks were included and the outdoor space was exactly what we were looking for! The kid only room is perfect, but does have outdoor access so little kids cannot stay. We noticed the first night that some items weren’t working or were broken and the maintenance came and fixed quickly. The house is older and could use some fixing up. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

LOVED staying here

We had a girls weekend with friends and our mothers and we all had a BLAST. We drove the 30 min to the Wimberly market days and the drive was easy and felt quick. The house was perfect and everyone complemented me on this find!! The bunk room was awesome and roomy. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to be moving in and out of and was stocked with all we could need as far as dishes, appliances and kitchen ware. The outdoor space was wonderful with many places to gather and enjoy the view. We already plan to stay again.

Relaxing Stay

Property location couldn't have been better. Plenty of room to play with the kids and relax by the river. The kitchen is supplied with all the necessary items to cook for your stay but they are not all clean. We did find hair in the tub before use.

July 4th Getaway

We had a great time. This property was perfect for our very large and crazy family. Plenty of room for the kids and adults as well. River location is perfect . We just sat our chairs in the river and enjoyed the time away from the real world.

Family gathering on the river

The house was perfect in every way with plenty of beds, open kitchen and dining, wonderful porches and great scenery. Our family and kids loved the chance to gather together in a beautiful house on the river. Highly recommended!!
