Great place near the heart of the city. Walking distance to all the great spots and there was ample parking at the house. The historic house had all of the right amenities and the host was very communicative prior to our visit.

Clean and Spacious

The house is exactly as advertised. It is in the heart of downtown New Braunfels and within walking distance of food, music and shopping. The home is 123 years old, very clean and beautiful! We had family stay ages 7 to 73 and everyone was happy with the house. Highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect.

After losing our 12 year old daughter from complications to cancer. We were in search of a nice one night stay with our family of now 5, and a few friends! This house was the perfect place. Location was perfect, house was beautiful! We will be booking in the future. The little kids even had fun thinking they stayed in a life-sized doll house!

Terrible Communication / Owner Intrusion

This booking was a nightmare experience! I booked the house for my sister's bachelorette party. We were a larger party with 11 adults. About a week before our check in date I started looking for emails and messages about the check in process. I never received anything so I reached out to a Vrbo representative and they gave me the owner's phone number. I called, text, and left several messages. I never heard back from the owner! At this point our trip was only 2 days away and I still had no information. I reached out to Vrbo again explaining I have been unsuccessful in contacting the owner and just wanted to cancel so I could book another house. They told me they would try to contact the owner and were required to give her 24 hours to respond. Finally, the owner messaged me through the Vrbo message system that afternoon with check in information! The first day of our stay, the owner showed up to the house unannounced in the middle of our party, let herself in, did not introduce herself and immediately startsed walking around the house inspecting the decor I have put up. She then rudely says we have to take the decor down because of the tape. She said she would leave tape approved for the walls, but did not, so I used wall safe tape that I brought from home. It was so awkward and definitely put a damper on our day. Other negatives about our stay included lots of dog poop in the back yard, no hot tub as advertised, and no kcups or ground coffee provided for the coffee maker!

Great House and Location

Really nice house, lots of space for 11 of us. Super convenient and near everything. If you do stay, the pizza rolls at Calahan's Pub and Pizza are a must try ( The pub and staff are great too ).

We had a great time at this house. Beds are comfortable, house was clean, hostess was accommodating and house was stocked. The only wish I had was that the sitting area had a little more comfortable seating.

Unique Stay

We stayed with our family of 10. Having 3 king size beds was a big selling point for us while the kids having 2 awesome bunk beds in the back bedroom was a huge plus. We were in town for a family wedding and getting to and from everything was easy enough. We all had sound machines and this helped with the music from the place close by but we did however still hear the train. They aren’t supposed to blow the horn through the night but someone forgot to tell the engineers our first night This house is adorable with anything you could imagine you might need. Very spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. It was equipped with some infant items that were nice to have and we even could’ve left our pack n play at home. The house is with-in walking distance to some super cute shops and little bakeries. The additional parking in the back was nice since we had three vehicles.

Highly Recommend

The house was so cute, clean, and neatly laid out for privacy and function. The front porch is perfect for relaxing and socializing, and the location is ideal for walking around downtown. Highly recommend and will stay again if anywhere near the area!

We loved our stay on the property. The house has been beautifully redone. The house is fully stocked - keurig, plates, bedding, games, etc. The property manager is super wonderful and lives close by. The house is right off the town sqaure and in walking distance to EVERYTHING! Would absolutely recommend this place.

New Braunfels Charm

Great location and a charming house! We had a group of ten -- plenty of beds, parking and room. Only wish is for a bigger grill. Timing was hard, as the grill is extremely small.

Awesome!

Perfect house for our party of 10 in the perfect location to float the Comal river. The house was clean & well kept. We cooked in which was no problem since the kitchen is well stocked. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone headed to New Braunfels! We has a wonderful time!
