WiFi available (fastest in our area) and supports streaming TV, though service can be spotty - perfect for unplugging and enjoying provided board games and the outdoor amenities! Parking for 2 tandem spots.

This spacious and well-appointed cottage, built in 2023, comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and features:

- 2 Bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and the second with a bunk bed/trundle + twin bed for maximum comfort.
- 2 Full Ensuite Bathrooms, one featuring a shower and the bunk room featuring a shower and tub
- Washer and dryer in the cottage for laundry needs
- A cozy living area with a Smart TV and queen memory-foam sleeper sofa
- Dining table seating for 6

Fernweh Hillside is a brand new upscale, relaxed, family friendly cottage resort along River Road in New Braunfels, Texas. Located between 2nd and 3rd Crossing, this resort-like experience offers a new experience for the long-time Guadalupe tubers - come check out the best that River Road has to offer!! Our 15 units vary in size with the largest unit sleeping up to 10 guests. Come enjoy our amenities including a pool, pickleball/basketball court, covered pavilion, and a dog park!

Our sister property, which all guests have access to, has private riverfront access with partnered tube trips daily during the high season. Perfect location for fishing during the low season. Enjoy everything that River Road has to offer!

All of the units are numbered, and the driveway loops - parking is available next to or near all units. A property map is included in the listing to guide you to Unit 6.

Wi-Fi is available but not guaranteed, and the signal may weaken in certain areas of the property —be prepared to unplug!

Fernweh Hillside is home to 15 private rentals onsite and all available amenities are shared, including riverfront access.

We kindly ask all guests to be mindful of water usage during your stay. Please minimize water use and do not use outdoor hoses or spigots. Your efforts to conserve water in this environmentally sensitive area (Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone) are greatly appreciated.
VISITORS & OUTSIDE GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON PROPERTY AT ANY TIME. Violation of this policy will result in a fee and potential removal from the property without refund. Fernweh is only accessible by our reservation guests.

Use of personal outdoor grilling equipment of any kind is not permitted on the property. This includes portable grills, smokers, fire pits, and similar devices. Use of personal grills, smokers, or open flames will result in a fee and may result in removal from the property without refund.

Trailers of any kind are not permitted on the property.

Smoking or vaping is strictly forbidden indoors and an additional $500 cleaning fee will be assessed for any violations. Smoking is permitted outdoors and we request that you do not litter by extinguishing and disposing of any butts appropriately. Please be courteous of other property guests when in common areas.

We love welcoming pets at Fernweh Hillside and have just a few quick notes for our furry guests:

Pets are welcome in our pet-friendly units at Fernweh Hillside for a $50.00 per pet fee (collected after reservation is confirmed). We allow a maximum of two (2) pets per cottage, not to exceed sixty (60) lbs combined. Pets must be crated any time they are left alone in the cottage.

We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture, though we know that`s easier said than done! Each pet-friendly cottage is stocked with a pet lint roller and a cozy grey blanket for your furry friend to lounge on.

While on property, pets MUST BE LEASHED at all times. Off-leash play is welcome in our dedicated dog park with human supervision.

The dog park is stocked with waste bags and a disposal container - please use them before leaving the park. If an accident happens along the way, please pick it up. We appreciate it!

Please note that pets are NOT PERMITTED at our sister property, Fernweh Riverfront. This is a firm policy that applies to all guests. The Riverfront site is not set up to accommodate pets, and as the private riverfront is a shared amenity, we ask that it remain a pet-free space so everyone can enjoy it fully.
