Classic lil spot

We stayed for a couple nights in this unit to enjoy some time away from home and float the river. Very clean, everything we needed was available. Full access cable. We texted the management company, and they were kind and responsive. We brought our own tubes, but having them available there would’ve been an amazing surprise. But not expected! Thanks for a great weekend! We’ll be back!

Perfect weekend

It was very easy to check in, they had my paperwork ready to go, the blonde lady did a really good job explaining the procedures. It was one of the fastest check in processes I've ever done. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and had more than enough amenities available for use, cute soaps were displayed beautifully. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Perfect place for a getaway

Perfect place to stay. The condo was a nice size for our family. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and cozy. Property was clean and for a holiday weekend it was surprisingly quiet. It is in a great location. It's just a few steps to the river and tube rentals. It had a nice pool and hot tub and a few other amenities. It just a couple blocks walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. It was just a 8 minute ride to Gruene. I highly recommend Grandma's River Haus.

Fleas in pull-out Couch

Was not clean! Fleas bites when sleeping in the pull-out couch. All Beds were horrible and old mattresses! Dishes were dirty when we arrived! Restroom not clean in the edges. The walls have dust and rug was dirty. Location is great, pool is great and the river is great. People were friendly!

Wonderful location and grounds, perfect for enjoying the river. Condo needs updating badly, but was very clean. Nice update to the restroom. Overall, it was a great weekend stay.

Fun River Getaway

This was a great location for a great price. We spent 3 days doing anything water related we could think of. Canyon Lake is only a 20 min drive with beautiful clear water and a free Army Corps park. Schlitterbahn was only a 5 min drive and there was a place to rent tubes for the Comal River just across the street. The rental group called us on the day of and said we could check-in early for free, which worked perfect for us! There were a couple of things broken in the kitchen (can opener and microwave worked but smelled) but we reported those at check out and they said they would take care of them. Overall Grandmas River Haus was a great place to stay and an excellent central location for New Braunfels and the surrounding hill country.

Perfect location. 3 tube rentals next door. Great access to Comal

Only thing I would check is the microwave —it’s smell was terrible. Used it 1 time for 7 seconds- cheese toast was smoking. Get a new 1!—Location is great River access very nice. Dated condo but not there to stay inside
